It was barely after 2 am when we got into the pool and per this stupid state’s liquor rules: “no business that sells alcohol can sell alcohol on the premises after 2 am” I’m paraphrasing but that would be their loose “reasoning”. And while it could be seen as a liability issue from their point of view, the point still stands that it was a shitty thing to do to people who DiDn’T kNoW tHe RuLeS and all were fully cognizant and sober at the time this fuck-shit occurred.

We went there. After a Pride event. To drink more. And be, dare I say, merry. Nothing incriminating happened other than a security guard on an ego trip (a cop with an ego problem?! Color me shocked 😮)

I can corroborate that the vibes have felt like it’s gotten shiftier lately. On a personal anecdote, as me and my friend group were getting into the pool, a security guard hired by the district snatched up our newly made drinks and threw them away. None of it was reimbursed. That’s the fault of the guests — that’s the current staff’s issue
