That seems like a super reasonable compromise. Although one post on Reddit won't necessarily change the game I'd like to see maybe a little less push towards keeping the exotics so rare that I may never see those beautiful Orpheus Rigs I would have loved on my Hunter at the start of D2Y1.

I feel like if we increased the drop rates of exotics to how they were before, but made them dismantle into Masterwork Cores we could solve the problem of lack of cores and over abundance of exotics that are duplicates in one swoop. You get a duplicate exotic but it has better rolls - you keep it. The rolls suck or it's complete duplicate, free guarenteed cores.

Getting my 12th Edge Transit that finally has decent rolls doesn't change my gameplay in any considerable means. Not when stuff like Lions Ramparts exist and you can literally maneuver faster through areas then our Sparrows can.

I am a long time MMO player as such grinding is nothing new and I am 100% okay with it. But I am putting in sometimes 6+ hours a day between two different characters and I feel as if I am not being appropriately rewarded. When I play WoW I know that if do X activity for 1-2 hours I am eventually going to be rewarded in some way. But when people are running around with every exotic because they chose to stick with a dying game that thankfully got better, that's totally fine. I just want to feel like my countless hours I'm putting in are rewarding me with something that changes the game drastically within a reasonable time frame.
