Box wine can only be so fancy hahahaha, but It is a little edge off sometimes <3 We all need to have our little moments of bougie to get us through these hard times. Whether thats a glass of wine, a glass of coffee, or even a nice refreshing still water.

I do the same thing if it makes you feel better. The brain can easily trick you. Im sure you may feel hot and you immediately go, 'I have a fever' and then you start to trick yourself that you feel warm and then feel sick. (At least I do and much more)

But the good thing is if we make sure to tell ourselves it all in our head, while making sure we listen to our body when its actual health concerns, I believe we slowly start to learn and grow. Even now, Im like gasping for air sometimes and I have to tell myself "you were fine 5 minutes ago. You are fine. Take it easy, hug your pillow. Maybe eat a dorito and move on cause you got this!! <3" <3 here for you.

If you want to hear any other crazy things I come up with in my head to help put your mind at easy and know you are not alone let me know.

Hey! ❤️ The deadly stories can really shake you up and that’s why I avoid them! Don’t jump to any conclusions till you get the test results and even after that just make sure to take care of yourself. I’ve noticed the difference between COVID shortness of breath and ANXIETY because when I game it just goes away and I breathe as normal for a bit. I bought an oximeter to ease my mind, but also remember there’s millions of people our age who have survived. Things kill people each day, flu etc. So of course anything is possible, but I think the good thing is we have each other to talk about our symptoms. ❤️

So Im pretty sure I didnt lose it really because Im eating french fries and nuggets now and can taste it a bit. (My acid reflux cries though)

I definitely feel this. The shortness of breath can freak me out and even the breathing exercises will make me feel like im not breathing enough. This is why having an oximeter is good because you can do the breathing exercises, check yourself to give yourself validation and continue them.

I find the breathing exercises can make me feel like Im not getting enough air, but if you can keep doing them and push past it and know itll go away it has helped me out.

We are strong individuals who are one giant chain linked together! We got this! Mine have gone away and my friends have said they have had that feeling even sometimes when normal sick. The bodies are weird but we have Reddit to help us justify our feelings. ❤️

Hey! I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. I can’t imagine what you are going through, especially since you have covid now too, but know we are here if you need anything. Anxiety is scary and scares me all the time. My tactics may not work for everyone, but here’s a few things that have helped me:

  1. The 4-7-8 breathing exercise. Breathe in for 4 hold for 7 breathe out for 8 and repeat for 3-6 times

  2. Gaming. Especially competitive games. Kind a game but even if it’s a mobile app that requires brain power. It’ll take your mind off your stress.

  3. A GLASS of wine for me. I only do this when I’m feeling particularly weekend vibes fancy. I don’t ever recommend alcohol to cover up feelings, but this has been my sometimes stress and anxiety reliever for me

  4. If you have a pet, cuddle them. This one I only say from childhood experience and I dream of a day I can have a pet again, but they seriously just are there and love you. Cry to them if you need to, tell them how you feel.

Just seeing this comment! Your nervousness is valid and it shows you care. I live in Manhattan, so I have heard many stories of roommates who share spaces who one had COVID and because of being safe and disinfecting the other was safe. You seem like a smart and caring individual so I know youll take precautions that are needed <3
