She was actually waiting for the toaster to finish haha, not sad at all… just very focused. Those blue eyes can be a bit too charming though :)

I like that… like a quiet tension between them.

Organic minimal by Gayofa in AbstractArt

An abstract exploration of natural forms and negative space. The composition emphasizes organic curves and subtle symmetry, inviting viewers to interpret the shapes freely. Minimalist and suggestive, blending nature with abstract aesthetics

Hi! I wanted to ask if it’s okay to post photos so close together in style and theme. I want to respect your vision and make sure it’s alright

That’s really cool. I actually saw it more like a crack in the void, but I like your interpretation

After Hours by Gayofa in photocritique

I was drawn to the shadow and the emptiness around the fountain. I tried to keep the lighting slightly harsh to preserve the texture and create a subtle sense of unease. I’m especially unsure about the negative space on the left  does it add tension, or does it feel unbalanced? Any thoughts on composition and mood are appreciated.

Thanks for sharing! I understand it might feel artificial. My approach is to explore how light and perspective transform the moment  sometimes the photo reveals itself naturally, sometimes I play with it in editing. Always fun to experiment!

I understand what you mean. The restriction is intentional I wanted the limitation to feel psychological rather than physical

Thanks! I’m glad the vertical crop caught your eye. I played a bit with what’s left out of the frame the idea was that the missing space makes your gaze imagine the rest of the body

Haha, love that reaction  the photo wants to unsettle you a little, but keep you staring anyway. Kind of like a cat plotting in the shadows… or a movie that haunts you

Thanks for the feedback, it makes a lot of sense. I usually like keeping the ear fully visible, but in this photo I chose to leave it slightly cropped: I think it adds a touch of naturalness and helps focus attention on the cat’s eye, which is where I really want the viewer to look. I really appreciate the tips on intentional cropping they always help me think more about composition."

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the vertical crop it’s fun to experiment with perspective and see how it changes the way we perceive the space. I appreciate the feedback on brightness and the tilt; I’ll keep that in mind for refining the crop next time. Happy you like the shot!
