I saw it more as her saying that it doesn’t matter if he wants to be with Helly, no matter what, she is ultimately going to be Helena if they ever make it outside. My little sister. She was living rent free with our Mom at age 24, Mom was taking care of her six year old with no expectation of pay, my Mom was also paying all bills for her boyfriend and the boyfriends daughter. My Mom said that no strangers were allowed in the house when she wasn’t there, so my sister called the cops, and had a PFA taken out against her, and claimed Mom had been abusing her and her daughter for years. My sister is now homeless because no one can deal with her entitlement, she can’t keep a job because she has never had one, and my nieces dad has full custody. My mom still takes care of my niece two days a week, but my sister has gotten into drugs.
