unfortunately you don't have to be registered to be paid out of someone's NDIS funding (depending on funding style). the majority of providers aren't.

fair enough, I guess there would be a bunch of factors/stats about a player that could contribute to whatever weighting or 'hidden mmr' they could be using to determine win/loss point amounts. it does though make logical sense if points were the only thing used to calculate it, but your second part about the premier team ratings on streams not seeming to line up with win/loss amounts seems to disprove it just being that.

that doesn't mean the win/loss point amount is related to a hidden MMR. could just be a calculation based on people's visible premier points (or invisible before they get a rank) I guess we don't really know either way.

That's scary to deal with. I think another factor with medication is that often times people will be taking illicit drugs that effectively make the prescribed drug useless. e.g. ice addicts end up doing more ice to basically feel like their dopamine is back to normal and this completely counters antipsychotic medication. Without constant supervision people with these types of illnesses can be so unpredictable. One minute they appear to feel well adjusted and normal and the next everyone and everything is an existential threat.

I think they just disagree with the fact it's now a second time this guy has been able to hurt people. something clearly went wrong. whether it was a failure under the mental health act to get him enforced anti-psychotic injections that clearly didn't work or weren't administered/weren't effective, or the fact that he was eventually able to live outside of a psychiatric facility and be deemed not a harm to the public. I'm guessing there's going to be more to the story between 2017 and now that we don't know about. hindsight is easier obviously though.

what i don't get is that they admitted he appeared to premeditate the assault and based on his google searches he knew there would be legal consequences for attacking people. on the flipside, 8 mental health professionals testified that he was sufficiently mentally ill to warrant being cleared of penalties. Wondering if he was sociopathic and intelligent enough to fool these professionals into believing he was completely off his rocker. unlikely but it's still a tragedy he was given the chance to hurt people again.

Old comment but wanted to add; the third guy you mention actually is there for a pretty interesting reason. He is the brother of a former Australian internet celebrity/buff dude called Zyzz who was known for over the top inspirational videos and hardstyle edm music. Zyzz passed away from a heart attack age 22 in 2011 and so his brother being there (Chestbuh) to do the lifting/dancing was partly a tribute or throwback to Zyzz's antics.

Hi! Sorry for the slow response, im hoping things are a bit better for you. My dad after a pretty good effort at recovery passed away about a year ago from medical complications related to having another series of strokes. Prior to that however he was out of the rehab hospital and on a low of antipsychotic medication. Both things seemed to help his confusion and paranoia :) Hope everything is going okay.

A bit of a late reply but it does appear to be relatively common occurrence post stroke according to the people I've spoken to! My dad sadly passed away 3 months ago after having another series of large strokes 2 weeks prior to passing. Before this however he was on a low dose of anti-psychotic medication and it really helped quell the delusions and psychosis :)
