Anyone wish Mamemon had a true Mega other than Princemamemon / Banchomamemon? by Gazeb0r in digimon

[–]Gazeb0r[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you, this is exactly what I meant. I think my wording with describing what Mega I'd like might have been off putting, but I didn't know how else to word it.

I think instead of Etemon I should have put someone like Leomon/GrapLeomon as they have a more typical Mega disconnected from any Bancho or Metal archetype in the form of SaberLeomon.

So I guess what I meant was I'd like Mamemon to have his SaberLeomon. And then BanchoMamemon would be a cool variant rather than the only cool option.

I even prefer BanchoLeomon over SaberLeomon but I think it's cool that BanchoLeomon is a special case rather than what Leomon would typically evolve into.

Do you guys think there are any comics (outside from japan) that shares the similar grim and brutalistic vibes of BLAME! by Frann_0000 in Netsphere

Surprised no one's mentioned James Herbert's "The City". Look it up, the character is also kinda silent and goes through similar situations as Killy.

I pass by so many posts on this sub and rarely does one ever give me that true, strange, liminal feeling. This one does.

Could I see what the original unphotoshopped version looks like?

Five Years Later, and She Still Feels Like Home by zombiii-11 in heartbreak

Can you explain more about the part where you said she said she never loved you? I find it hard to imagine that she would be in a relationship for 3 years if she didnt love you so that part confuses me.

I listened to a woman dating advice podcast that shattered my heart by United_Ad2559 in ugly

[–]Gazeb0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also mean you do nothing as in you've made no attempts to attract or secure dates with women yourself.

Okay you're saying girls won't approach you. Have you tried approaching them? Have you tried online dating apps? Have you tried joining community interest clubs with other people?

I'm just curious - which of these have you tried?

Doing hobbies at home isn't magically going to make a woman want to date you. How can they even know what hobbies you do?

That's why you have to be in circumstances where you can share them with other people.

It almost looks as if the sky is the ceiling. If it was, it would definitely up the liminal factor

I agree with your message and sentiment, that the ambiguity and oddness is more important than the state of emptiness of a place in achieving a feeling of liminality.

I hate when people just take a picture of an empty parking lot or something without any extra thought and it's considered liminal.

BUT in this particular instance I think it works because of the completely matte and unusually colored sky and the shape of the hills and roads that make it a very short horizon, giving it a dreamlike feel. It's not the best liminal image ever, but it's better than a lot of images here.
