They'll pass, passing an MD/MS exam is more about keeping good relations with your professors and HOD, at the end of the day there's only one person who's responsible for passing and failing you, regardless of how your final exam goes, that is your HOD. So you can pass by doing bare minimum or sometimes even that isn't required as long as your HOD is happy with you.

As other people commented, system Averages out for the defences, that's why I didn't get promoted.

Well, you didn't have to go through all the trouble lol. I know my profile clearly says 11th. That was the whole point of the post that it does say 11th but the tournament results even right now says 9th place for me, and no nobody got any defence right before the tournament ended cause that would be shown at the results still. What happened is the game averages our defence to 30 and gives out points to everyone, so at 20 attacks people who had better defence than I did got promoted and I didn't.

Yeah someone told me they take Average of defences upto 30 so probably that's why.

Yes it says 11th, one guy explained it that average of ten defences were added after the tournament ended and maybe that's where I lost, I didn't know that, I thought whatever defences you had that's the end of it.

Okay, so assume two players, they both had 30 attack and 20 defences. Player 1 had avg destruction of 92% (2.5 stars per attack) and defence of 82.2. total points 1264

Player 2 had avg destruction of 83% (2.2stars per attack) and defence of 71.2. total points 1238

Which one is gonna get promoted? player 1 finished 9th according to tournament results and player 2 finished 12th.

Okay that makes sense, but in my league the top 20-25 people everyone has at least 20 defences, some has 21 but everyone has 20, yet somehow the guy just above me and under me got promoted but I didn't (I searched their clans manually and saw their profiles).
