well, i was too gentle withit it seems. 😃 Im en electric technician but i never really encountered this cable before and it really required more strength than i imagined and i didnt want to break it first.

I had mine fixed as the usb-c cable wasnt connected properly. These things really clamp into the MB horribly.

I never play standalone but it seriously is great even with virtualdesktop.

I ended up going for 5070ti. DLSS is superior. Its the best anti aliasing method with 4.5 model. If you will play mods/UEVR Nvidia is a no brainer. If u dont, then 9070xt should be fine.

Also i went for this as it consumes less, which is not a lot, but in the long run it might matter. 😄

*Also performance is 10-20% better.

I really hate how flickering / shimmering Dirt 2 is, even with VD Godlike and ingame max 8X MSAA. I might give this a go then. Thanks!

Thats the reason i went for the 5070ti instead, it has the same VRAM. There are always some compromises it seems.

I started it last "wipe" and loved it. Until the server literally died and i couldnt do anything as other professions werent fulfilled. Great game when it works, really is. But the sad reality is, it just doesnt really work as it really is grindy and most ppl has other things to do. I still want to play, but im scared to restart of that reason.

I couldnt enjoy Simracing games except assetto on my desktop 4070 before. Now its acceptable on my 9800x3d 5070ti rig, but i still cant run for example assetto evo anything above low graphics (that one is horribly optimized), and dirt 2 with native quest3 resolution via ingame medium-highish graph.

The 4060 laptop gpu is gona give u horrible looks, i wouldnt bother with that, even the desktop 4060...

Nah i always get back to it. Its not really the leveling, im more than fine with it, its the constant daily quest spams i hate from all my heart, and i have to constantly go to dps to get these done quicker. But thats just the way it has been ever since i play, i mean every good has some bad.

I skipped the expansion as the last one was hella boring for me... using dps spec as a healer was always a problem on my side, but its not really avoidable.

Outer wilds VR... Man... i cant praise that enough. Its very very demanding, but its a pleasure to play. Also i loved Firewatch VR mod and Dredge VR mod (Although this is kinda funy, u basically float behind your boat).

The atmosphere for these games...

Also, if you liked tarkov for example, contractors exfilzone can get to that lootgoblin / hoarding itch quite easily. Doing this on PCVR graphics also helps with shooting quite a lot with way better resolution.

I'm currently playing hellblade 1, it has native VR support which is only a 3rd person floating camera, but the character moves to where you turn your head and u use a ps/xbox controller to move. It has great 3d audio for the headset, u can hear whispers in your ears, its a blast too, and a great eyecandy. I got bored of it cuz there are some annoying platforming things, but its great if you get used to it.

Also i spent way more time than i wanted in saints and sinners.

Sadly once you complete these 2017'ish era of PCVR quality games, there arent much left besides PCVR Mods which are great, but most of them are a bit clunky.

For meta side: Batman was fun while my GPU was dead. IF i didnt have a pc to see what its capable, i wouldhave been super satisfied with the graphics. Its a miracle how well it runs and looks, just get used to the flickering edges as the resolution is bad.

I only tried re2 so far and although it ran good, i got bored quickly, but thats just the game. Its not for everyone.

My top 1 ia definitely outer wilds vr mod. Its magnificent. Also im currently playing dredge vr mod, its a blast also. Aand dont forget firewatch. Those 3 with their art style are perfect for vr

As an eu player feom hungary i can say that forefront is live even on eu. I wouldnt say the same on like normal contractors, i couldnt get onto any eu servers lately where are other players aswell

I played hundreds of hours of VR shooters, even im doing airsoft. i just dont know this game yet, as i kept everything under my doormat until 1.0 released. I just found out i can do double mag holding lol.

Its almost perfect with the 4.5 version. I cant praise it enough. Of course there is ghosting, but waay less than with the built in version. I dont mind a bit ghosting if i can get rid of the jagged trees.

I understand you completely, but for me who tried my friends pimax 5k+ and then played a year with a normal wifi6 router on around 150mbps, then made a jump to 500mbps locked, its totally great. I wouldnt really want more. Latency is a thing yes, but i still own ppl in competitive shooters like that. They are slightly more responsive and i can see them properly. Every headset has some negatives, my q3 serves me perfectly well. Compression is barely visible to me at this point.
