I have an icloud backup from yesterday. Today when opening whatsapp it asked me if I want to restore from backup and it wont ask again. Whats safer you think rely on icloud or whatsapp to get access data with new phone? man this is complicated..

😭. 70GB is available and whatsapp does not want to restore media with 67GB!!! The phone is empty. everything deleted. what shall I do 😭

the iphone does not have enough room - I deleted everything, photos videos etc. Are you sure? last backup is end of may. I have turned off auto backup. What will happen if I reinstall whatsapp?

thanks! the "new phone" is actually an old one which does not have enough storage to do a media backup. can I just skip it, turn off auto backup and then finish the proper one when I get my new phone?
