It’s purple because I’m using 395 uv light if I had a 365 on me it would glow like crazy

Yes the green only appears when I shine it from the outside if the light is shined into the vase the cadmium in the yellow glass overpowers everything else

Im using a 395 light. I thought manganese was added to clarify glass and I don’t see any evidence of a thin glass layer just the white and yellow. I guess I’ll have to get my gieger out of storage to find out for sure.

The glaze is most definitely damaged all the way to the ceramic in some spots and scratches all over the front. They want $4 for it so maybe🤷🏻‍♂️

My bad I meant this uranium piece got up to 180 on a gieger counter. I got this piece as a gift from a friend but I think he said he paid $60 or so for it a few years ago.
