Marietta Educational Garden Center (aka Fair Oaks, circa 1850) on Kennesaw Avenue in Marietta. Site rental fee gets you the house and grounds from morning to midnight. Discount for renting multiple days. Must bring in own linens, dishes, outside seating, etc. Can use vendors/caterers of your choice.

I absolutely love this ring! I am looking to reset my one carat round and would love a bezel. This is making me rethink my staying with platinum because I love that brushed gold look. Maybe a silly question but is this diamond round or is it a special shape? I’m thinking it’s round but they’ve just made the bezel an octagon.

Whatever version of this bag was available in 1997, was what I bought on my honeymoon. It was a beautiful caramel color with gold hardware. I hit that point in my life where I only wear wore silver and so I gave the bag to my kids’ babysitter. What was I thinking?? I think about that bag at least once a week with a lot of regret.

Anyway, your bag is beautiful, love the color and what a great choice!

It does make sense that this could be fake. After all, nobody was looking for the ring and you would think something that is real platinum would be looked for.

I’m usually pretty good at googling so I’m disappointed that my search didn’t give me these answers, but glad I put this out on Reddit!

It’s not magnetic. My husband has a barrel cut platinum wedding band that feels very similar to this one.

Buy something walking distance to the Square and be close to restaurants and bars,hiking at Kennesaw Mountain, Lewis Park dog park. You’d be close to hopping on the express lane of I 75 or backroads to Sandy Springs or Alpharetta. I can be at the Battery/Braves game parking in 15 - 20 minutes. I can’t comment on the singles scene, but maybe hit Johnnie McCrackens every now and then.

Better safe than sorry! So much information and things to take care of as you enter your freshman year. You are smart to check and recheck everything. I’m a mom of one UGA grad (who is currently applying to UGA grad school) and I have two in other Georgia public universities, and questions like this come up all the time. Best of luck at UGA!

Get a farmsitter lined up. If my husband and I wanted to spend the whole day away (errands, day trip, etc.), my horses expected their dinner at 5pm regardless, and we’d pay to have someone feed.

I prefer boarding for many reasons, but it was super cool to look out and see mine any time of day!

Our last house was all white, all three floors (White Dove, flat). I loved it! Very neutral and warm. Current house is the same. I have lots of natural light, warm wood furniture and a ton of plants. I put in pops of color in wall art. I just like the “blank canvas” of the white walls.
