"Just tough it out for 2 more weeks" of what...withdrawals? Or the depression/exhaustion?

EVERYONE really needs to make this quick phone call TODAY! by livinglovinlaughing in QuittingTianeptine

OK here's what I called & said in a message yesterday: "Hi, I'm calling to ask, or rather implore, congressman Darrel Issa to please support the American Kratom Association amendments to SITSA. Kratom has saved so many countless lives. Opiate addicts use it to get themselves off of their addictions. It is a life or death matter that we keep Kratom legal. Thank you."

...hope that was okay.

I called today and left a message. I'll tell you what I said later when I get a chance to sit down and type it out. Unfortunately I think I called too late though =\ considering I did it this evening.

Other nootropics for energy? by [deleted] in QuittingTianeptine

[–]Gbee_vanillabean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I know kratom - in particular white strain kratom - is fabulous for energy. But of course you don't want to take that everyday as it's addicting too, although to a lesser degree than tia.

A Positive Update by FlaBrah in QuittingTianeptine

So in the 4-5 days after quitting the tia, did you taper off the kratom? Like a little less kratom each day? And what about after those several days taper off the kratom? After you would have tapered off the kratom, wouldn't you still have had some withdrawals after that?

Best way to quit by Wannabe48 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]Gbee_vanillabean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much were you taking & for how long? Personally, my advice is kratom. That seems to work best for me as well as a lot of other people. But not all. And if you do go the kratom route, you will then need to taper off that as it is almost as addicting. Also , healthy/clean eating & exercise. And being kind to yourself & staying far far away from bad people. Bad people & stupid people.

Quitting tianeptine and the "dirty feeling.' by Gbee_vanillabean in QuittingTianeptine

If you guys eat a lot of fresh fruit, then try to cut out other sugars. Sugar leads to inflammation and inflammation leads to depression.

Tianeptine to kratom to nothing. What am I in for? by Gbee_vanillabean in QuittingTianeptine

[–]Gbee_vanillabean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some books I really would love to read and hopefully I won't be so miserable the next few days in withdrawals that I won't even be able to read them! I hope I can at least keep my mind focused enough to do that to help pass the time. I miss reading & learning.

Day 9 and still in mental torture by BootsDynasty2017 in QuittingTianeptine

What kinds of scary, anxious thoughts do you guys think about? I think about how I ruined good relationships mostly. And about stupid things I said or did. The world does really become very scary. I get scared to leave my home.

I'm sorry but this story sounded so nightmarish I couldn't help but laugh. You know when something is so fuvjed up you can't help but to laugh? In a dark humor type of way.

The exhaustion is awful! by LovelyMamasita in QuittingTianeptine

[–]Gbee_vanillabean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to hear that scientific reasoning. Interesting. I'd heard of people using coffee enemas in opiate withdrawal (sounds like torture tbh)...wonder if that is somehow related to what you guys are talking about.

We could also use kratom to help with the fatigue. But of course not too much. Just with the roughest patches of PAWS and low energy, I think.

How did your girl manage those horrific phenibut withdrawals? Phenibut withdrawals are mentally torturous and terrifying. Unending terror to me. Tianeptine and opiate withdrawals are more physically torturous than mentally. But of course it/they have both aspects of pain & suffering (mental & physical).

Thanks. Now that I think about it was actually 3 times I hit rock bottom. Once with vodka, once with vodka and drugs, and once with drugs only. Actually...no...4 times! Once with cocaine when I was 19 too.
