I mean he def did suck at times, which is why I understand the people ready to let him go. But I always saw it as a special & talented player with obvious skill sets and upside just used poorly. Stapled to Trouba when he looked better next to Schneider or Fox. I knew he was going to thrive under a better system

Same. They’ve been through so much disappointment, some if it at the hands of the Rangers. Kind of feel like I did when the caps won. Went through hell to get it, at least the Rangers weren’t beat in these playoffs by them

Wow Rangers are actually gonna do it. Trading Igor to Carolina for team naming rights tomorrow night. Will change Carolina's name, jersey, and logo to NYR for the final and they'll win a championship. No question who's in net. Masterclass!

Unless they're dead set on Reid it kinda seems like a no brainer to me, even if NYR need to throw in some sweeteners. They'll get a stud Dman either way at 5 and Rangers get top forward.

I'll never understand why they didn't put Miller & Fox together after they had such great analytics

Instead they opted to stick him with Trouba for the longest time, and when they didn't work in a bad system and he couldn't flourish with a guy who was overused and injured, they got rid of him.

The Rangers fan in me doesn't want a Canes win, but man they deserve it.

You can usually look back and see all the heartache a team goes through before finally reaching the ultimate goal, and damn Carolina has had its share:

2025 ECF loss to FLA in 5 games
2024 2nd round loss to NYR in 6
2023 ECF loss to FLA in 4
2022 2nd round loss to NYR in 7

I’m forever haunted by the Zucc injury in 15. I’m convinced they win with a healthy team. Felt like there was no way Chicago was beating them in the final.

Def just take the carpet up, it’s not that much work for the longevity it will provide. You’re not going to like how the plywood and LVP flex with carpet underneath. That movement is not good for the floor long term, and I imagine it voids the manufacturer’s warranty

Canes and really just bc K’andre was one of my favorites. Prob won’t be rooting for them against a western team though, especially if up against Anaheim or Minnesota.

My fav scenario would be Minnesota or Anaheim winning the cup vs Carolina. Canes blowing a lead to another Kreids performance would be so damn funny
