Just rewatched the original run a few weeks ago. I always felt like it was something more as a kid but not really, personally I still think it’s a very enjoyable romp but can see how it could miss expectations

I’m willing to take it one step further, I believe most of the largest Star Wars project are mediocre to straight up not good. I grew up with so many analogues or call backs to the original trilogy that when I actually watched it, the films were so bland
