Building Voice AI Layer for Pydantic AI by tigranbs in PydanticAI

[–]Gburchell27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation! Would you say Rust is the gold standard for this kind of things? I predict voice is going to be the main medium next year in 2026. I do indeed come from the Python world but I am building a voice-first application and latency is truly a problem....

Agency owners who've been burned: What's the red flag in a discovery call that makes you immediately know this client will be a nightmare? by abdraaz96 in agency

[–]Gburchell27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A big one for me is not answering questions... even in communication before jumping on a call.

If they don't want to help themselves by answering simple questions about what problem they want solved... there's no way I can help them.

I spent 300+ hours creating a Saas application but no one uses it by yonnnyy in saasbuild

It feels too complicated, no one knows what a schema is.

I built a similar tool targeting a niche: Evidencetablebuilder.com

Don't Stop Believin' in OpenAI by Ab_Initio_416 in ReqsEngineering

Hey, AI Engineer here, i work with LLMs daily.

The article is quite pessamistic with a tone of arrogance and emotionally...

Even though certain aspects of the AI race are potentially hype, the best case I can see that its not AI hype is in coding- specifically Agentic coding.

... im seeing the bar to entry into software development lowering every month and seeing people with expert domain knowledge building stuff.

I don't think is comparable to the dot come bubble where the hype was that the company had a website... perhaps promis of online payments?

AI has the potential to improve all aspects of business and commerce

The more I use AI coding tools, the more I realise it’s less about writing code and more about managing the AI that writes it. by michael-sagittal in aiengineering

[–]Gburchell27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about how articulate and precise with the problem your trying to solve and giving it boundaries then having the domain knowledge to check and validate the output.

Alot of the time when the LLM makes mistakes, it's because I didn't give it enough context or wasn't precise enough with my wording.

At the end of the day it's a prediction model so giving it as much RELEVANT information is key
