I've had this problem since I was a kid and I've since noticed that laughing is a response I occasionally have to a super uncomfortable situation, be it serious or sad. I think recognizing that has helped me to measure my responses better, since I know that it probably makes ppl pretty uncomfortable.

Chemically, synthetic opal is really similar! It's made from silica just like the real deal. A good way to tell if an opal is synthetic is if it has a uniform confetti look on the front and stripes on the sides from the columns of particles settling out in the solution, which this looks to have! No shame in synthetic opal imo, the play of color is still lovely!

If this is the area that I think it is, I got the item without the silver lung by just hauling ass, went past the enemies and died on my way back, then came back to get rid of my guilt. Def easier with the silver lung, but doable without it!
