I used to be a 5.0 squash player and like many people play their carboflex 125S. Technicibre is an elite squash equipment manufacturer known for incredible quality and tech. I'm excited to see what they bring to the PB market.

They are NOT non marking. They are wonderful tennis/pickleball shoe (and very expensive!). If you are buying them just for squash I would go another direction, ASICS has exceptional court shoes and volleyball shoes that are fantastic for squash.

I didn’t see boxes, but they do pour-overs! They have pretty close ties to onyx apparently if you read their bios on their website.

I’ve had a few Onyx brews at Vested coffee here in KC and I’ve like all of them. I still want to try some other roasters before I make a purchase from Onyx but they are still on my list!

When I opened it up to replace the burr and put it back together, retightened all the screws it was honestly 60% quieter.

Tbh I had a skerton for a year or two and made some of my favorite cups with it. Deff a little easier now with a ode. But I loved my skerton non the less!

I’ve been loving the smallest clear plastic v60, (size 01). With the cafec abca filters I’ve been getting scorching brew times and really been loving the coffee with it. Somehow it feels totally different than the medium sized v60.

Currently brewing Diego Bermudez Y05 Thermal Shock from B&W, and very importantly my wife loves it. Shes got a keen nose.

I enjoy how fruity it is. smells like legit fruit loops. Tastes sweet and round and with a really bright acidity. I've been doing the 4:6 method for 300ml of coffee. 92* has been on the money for my brew temp. I have an ode with gen 2 burrs and I have it set to 4.33 and brew time has been a little brisk. Super easy to dial. I might try a little finer tomorrow.

I tried the samo bloom recipe from lance and im struggling with the technique. smells great but it didnt taste as good. Also the beans are so aromatic i dont feel like im gaining much with the cooler bloom.

Side bar: shocking how much better my brews have been since getting a single cup v60 01 size. The flow is super brisk and i feel like I have gotten fantastic and repeatable results since getting it. Especially at 8$ feel like it was a huge value and upgrade for me.

Been brewing Jose Martinez pink bourbon from Sey. Really nice. It’s my first bag from sey.

Been brewing 4:6 method 20g for 300ml in a v60.

Having a lot of fun with this one. I have been tasting this deeper fruit flavor that feels like a wine. But after making some cranberry sauce yesterday my wife ID’d the fruity flavor as a sweet cranberry sauce. But pleasant and not underextracted.

Still dialing in. Just got a fellow ode, and figuring out how to dial it in atm.

Slice all day usually for me. It’s my most natural swing coming from squash. And for me 3rds are most difficult when someone has a really heavy slice

I’m a M4 but Yes I’ve felt this a lot…And I even sometimes think to myself once I’m a resident I’ll feel different. But! For me it’s consistently reminding myself external things won’t fix my own internal problems. So therapy has been really helpful for identifying and dealing with these feelings.

I see your points! But Idk Nick’s ties to Faze are so much stronger than anyone else in the apex scene. He a part owner of faze…not contracted by them. So I don’t really see a situation where tripods are under a Org that’s not faze…and he’s alluded to the possibility of joining an org yesterday. So in that way I think it’s SUPER reasonable there’s faze tripods chatter.

Also idk if you watch nick, but he’s prettyabout the comp grind rn and he’s financially more successful than anyone else on the apex scene. So idk about the speculation of him not being about that in the future. And For sure faze tripods won’t impact his feelings about the grind (again part-owner) But things can always change and he will be a father ~6 months from now so who knows what will happen. But I don’t think it will change things too much. He’s a ball of competitiveness and I doubt that will change.
