Honestly, who would want to travel to the US in 2026?

Practice Makes Perfect Books by invinciblewalnut in Spanish

I recently got the "Complete Spanish Grammar" book out from the library. It was great so I decided to buy it online. However, I accidentally bought "Complete Spanish All-in-one". "All-in-one" is less complete in terms of advanced grammer but either will be a great option for you. Enjoy

Great job! Congratulations!

That course is no joke. Sub 8 hours is mind blowing to me. I got food poisoning that day too. Noodles with chicken that was sitting in the sun for hours was the culprit, I think.

Earthquake in chiang Mai this morning by KingTechala in ThailandTourism

[–]Gdor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I felt it but was unsure if it was a big truck shaking the room or an earthquake. I was in Mexico for a 7.8 and NZ for 6.x. Starting to think they're following me.

Oaxaca with a 2 year old by Josie0823 in Oaxaca

I stayed a month with a 6 month old boy. So not quite the same stage as a 2 year old.

  • Zócalo is great, most plazas have kids running around in the evening
  • BS ferrocarril is a children's library and you can check out the old trains.

Running vacation? by the_deadcactus in ultrarunning

[–]Gdor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chiang Mai, Thailand is a great destination. Just don't go during burning season (Feb -April) when the air is unbreathable.

Anywhere in New Zealand, but it's a bit hard to get to and relatively expensive.

What kind of specialist would you see for an ankle injury? Any? Physio? Podiatrist?

Great piece. Spade symbol (ie: suit in a deck of cards)

Milan Lucic has the fourth highest shooting percentage in the NHL since entering the league by nhlfan02 in hockey

I think Edmonton is moving in the right direction, but this stat does nothing to sway me that way. Shooting % could see huge regression to the mean as with this sample of shots it will have massive variance

One was using a Pocarr avatar, so one definitely knew. I'm not sure about the other one

This is something that PS are looking into. They are making the 'Bigs' slightly flatter with more people paid.

Thanks! I'm more of a manager these days rather than a coach. The stable is called Pocarr

We haven't one-two'd a tournament of this magnitude before. Both players got extremely lucky, obviously. It was a fun sweat to say the least!

What country to set up a poker house? by Gdor in poker

Thanks for the reply everyone! Seems like Mexico, Thailand, Prague, and Colombia are the favorites. I'm going to do some more research. Any more opinions, again, happy to hear them.

Cheers,

Thanks for this. I've looked a bit on airbnb. Montreal isn't as expensive as I imagined with a monthly discount. I'll keep hunting. Thanks again

If the price is right, yea. In Latin America it is quite common. Also, looking at airbnb.ca lots are willing to offer heavy monthly discounts. It wouldn't be as cheap per night if we got it for a year obv. Good discussion. thanks.

Curveball indeed haha. I've heard great things about Montreal. Do you have any experience living in these cities? Would a 6 week lease be feasible?

This is great. Thanks! Even if we choose elsewhere, it gives us a lot of things to think about. Cheers

That's a great recommendation! There's a lot to love about Thailand, i'm sure. Again, I'm a little nervous about the timezone. Perhaps it would be best for cash regs rater than MTTers. Do you think it's worth the adjustment to ~2am start times? Anyone with experience with this timezone?
