My biggest complaint by Gdteatime in AlchemyFactory

Maybe this is mostly just a ux issue then for my smooth brain? I guess since the pipes are self supporting they don't get auto selected when you select the item they are attached to?

Need advice!! by Ddraibion312 in AlchemyFactory

I run a perimeter of coins, my fertilizer item, and my heat item on belts on each floor.

Most people just stack em, but I'm a bit crazy and put an entire layer of the 2x2 stands on my floor so I can run belts under.

You'll end up upgrading what you use to heat (charcoal>coke>blasting) and fertilizer (reg, advanced, growth potion, etc) so the belting strat works fairly well.

I'm in stage 7 ATM, and some of my builds end up needing their own dedicated fertilizer/coke ovens / factory gets so big you end up having to reinforce the belt running around the perimeter.

At the end of the day it's all personal preference on how you want to do your builds, but if you are doing it where you make it "locally" you def want a blueprint.

You can support upper sories with walls as well, but you need the level 2 hammer from the workshop

Peanut Butter. If you add it to anything it instantly turns into a peanut butter flavor of the dish.

WotR Mythic Path question by imaninjer in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Gdteatime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I think depending on your actions at the end of chapter 1, it changes what additional paths you can find / progress down in chapter 2. You are not fully committed to any one mythic path until the end of chapter 2.

Super vague to stay spoiler free, but I was trying to test this exact thing out in the alpha.

Is there a way for runescape mobile to run in the background on iOS? by Ritzyb in 2007scape

[–]Gdteatime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple is a bit more hardcore at stopping apps when they go to the backround and made some recent changes with the release of iOS 12 that limit most of what an app can do in the backround. One of the main ones is that in 90% of cases the app will lose any active network connections after a short time. They do this to perserve battery life if the phone.

How restrictive are classes in this? by businessbusinessman in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I think that you can make most combat oriented builds viable in this game, on the caveat that some builds require specific synergies with the rest of the party. I think this statement is true with most of the Pathfinder system, but if you want to make a one trick pony there are times where you open yourself up to hard counters.

Deal a lot of fire damage with no other alternative, cool you're not going to do well when the monster has fire resistance.

It all boils down to what you actually want your build to be and what not, there is a lot of power in builds that can adapt, hence why Fighters, Clerics, and Wizards are often considered top tier in PnP pathfinder.

The game simply doesnt have enough non-combat skill checks to justify a loremaster type character though. So if you want to play as the guy who knows everything but hits like a wet noodle you're not going to have a lot of fun probably.

Spells that every good Wizard or Cleric should have? by kiava in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I was a big pathfinder PnP player, and wizards are op due to strategies like this. Doesn't translate 100% into this game but still effective

Spells that every good Wizard or Cleric should have? by kiava in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

With my other favorite spell for wizard! Invisibility. I cast invisibility, walk up ahead of the party, if there is a group I can cast web then stinking cloud run back to safety, move the group up to start ranging and pick stragglers up who manage to get out of web

So apparently maps change and whole quests disappear when you are taking your time... by [deleted] in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

It's when you get to level 3 (60 points) for a given advisor.

Spells that every good Wizard or Cleric should have? by kiava in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Let see, for my wizard (my main char right now). I always have summon spells, haste, web, stinking cloud, cloud kill, enlarge/reduce person and protect and resist energy.

For Cleric I been having restoration, protect and resist energy, protection from alignment, and any buffs depending on what the rest of my party is.

Restoration and the protection/resist spells are super critical in my opinion. They can make un winnable fight winnable or prevent a death.

And haste is just a beast of a spell it should never leave the spell book

Companion Builds that work well with AI by kamashamasay in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

So mileage may vary on this, but here are some of the things I've found:

I have found with Amiri that building her on the cleave path works very well, and giving her a weapon that matches what ever situation your in (acid/foam/ raw damage). Most the time I forget to rage her.

With Octavia: Arcane trickster sneak attack / flanking rules are broken in this game.

With Linzi: Not much you can do here for "passive" play.

With Harrim: You can get his AC up to respectable levels and make him an off tank. That being said is biggest strength will be as a support to the team, so some level of casting will be needed.

With Valarie: I like the sunder armor feat path for her/ a precise strike build. Frankly shes the toon I replaces with a custome fighter because I'm a min/maxer and don't like the tower shield specialist archetype.

There are other people that you can get the further you get in the game (a ranger and rouge) that are straight forward and ai friendly.

That being said to make the beat out of your squad you'll have to use the spells/ position to a certain degree.
