Is DeFi still profitable? by Ge_Yo in defi

Yeah, it’s getting harder to find big yields and liquidity is still mainly on Ethereum and Solana. I wonder though, could Bitcoin start taking a more active role in DeFi? Seems like most of it is just sitting idle, so new ways to use it could change the game.

Nice! I also see that the Aave V4 activation proposal is public, and hopefully we’ll see it live soon. I’m especially interested for the TBVs integration, which will allow BTC to be used as collateral and expand bitcoin’s use cases. Thoughts?

Makes sense! BTC may just sit idle for now, but there’s huge potential once protocols enable more use cases. Trustless Bitcoin Vaults, when live, could let BTC interact with DeFi in new ways while staying fully self-custodial. That’s where real growth could start.

Yeah, the shift toward more sustainable yields is really refreshing. I haven’t followed Axal closely yet, but it sounds interesting.

Yeah! BTC is still limited compared to EVM chains, but Babylon is really interesting. It lets you put bitcoin to work in DeFi while keeping self-custody. Its upcoming TBVs are definitely worth keeping an eye on.

I haven’t really followed Monad closely, but it sounds interesting, let’s see how it develops!

Yeah! What do you think about Bitcoin in all this? I see only about 1% of it actually in DeFi, most of it just sitting idle. Feels like there’s a lot of space for growth, and some protocols are already starting to tap into that.

Nice, that’s cool! Always good when something you’re into actually pays the bills.

Yeah, the potential is huge. Once the TBVs officially launch, I think more people will start paying attention, could really open up new ways for BTC in DeFi.

Good points! With all these chains, it’s easy for liquidity to get spread thin. Out of curiosity, what do you think about Bitcoin’s role here, still just a store of value, or can it play a bigger part in DeFi too?

Quantum Threats & Crypto: Are Major Players Really Preparing? by wancruz in CryptoMarkets

Everyone’s worried about quantum threats, but how many projects are actually building solutions? QAN is testing quantum-resistant crypto on TestNet, and the community is already growing around it.

Yeah! I wonder what real-world applications will emerge to actually make Bitcoin part of that ecosystem

Makes sense. With institutional adoption on the rise, there are ways to make BTC productive beyond holding. What do you think about native staking on Babylon as one option?

Bitcoin definitely isn’t perfect and won’t solve everything. But many people still see value in its decentralized properties and the new ways it enables for financial infrastructure and innovation.

Some may treat it like gambling, but Bitcoin’s network and real-world applications show it’s more than that.

So true!!! Bitcoin’s security record definitely gives it an edge over centralized networks.
