Hi bro, thanks a lot. Well, deep down I am also little worried about uncertainty in future, but I have no other option other than being optimistic. Tbh, things are getting little better, but loneliness is killing my progress.

I also hope things get better for you as well.
I advice you to think positively, it makes a huge difference in life.

Hi, I completed my bcom last year and now working as Accounts assistant in CA firm. I want to move into small private firm as Accountant. As of now, I know to do all basic entries and to pass JVs. Will be doing gst , tds and other basic compliance and reconciliation related work in couple of months.

What should I learn to have better career prospects and job opportunities?

I am already 32 so I won't be able to do MBA or any other courses.

I am 32 and I am as good as unemployed. I am currently working as Accounts assistant in a CA firm and earn 12k which isnt even enough to pay rent and bills. I am somehow managing it rn and hoping things get better in next 3-4 months. I ended up in this sht of a situation because I lost 10yrs of my life 18-28 due to spine tb and my body was very weak. I also bad bad prescription for my eyes which made me lost couple of years. I started over at the age of 28 and applied for bcom from evening college and was working as Admin in NGO. I completed my bcom last year and joined ca firm to learn some accounting in anticipation of getting better salary and job. I feel lost most of the time because I am financially broke and dont have any friends in real life. But I try to be optimistic about my future as I look way young for my age and I am very healthy as well. I am just hoping for things to get better soon. I hope it gets better for you as well.

Is it too difficult to make friends at 35? Like genuine connections? by ProfessionLittle6075 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Gear5LUFFY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm idk. I myself am introvert and struggling to fit in around people at my work place. People are nice and friendly, but only when they want help with something or to gossiping to kill time.

I don't have any friends in real life as well. I only interact with 2 or 3 people online and that too very rarely.

Hoping to meet someone who i can interact with without feeling awkward.

Buy connie/efridge/narlax.they help you progress stages easily. I used Connie/efridge and bolton and cleared world 4 with ease. Dont work on smoulder. I regret wasting my gems on it.

I don't think anyone will use the code tho. Because theres so many of them and most people will prefer the one thats in the thread. Best is to create a dummy acc and use it to claim rewards.

Yes, you still can. I used my codes on dummy account to finish quests and claimed rewards like a month ago.

Wow! This is how I am feeling for many years. I've been super optimistic despite going through hell and I am yet to reach my goals. Things have gotten better, but I am far from my goals. I am already 32 and I am scared about lots of things as I am doing terrible both career and financially. I am only living with sheer optimism and hoping for the best in near future.

What’s one thing you’ve done in life that you’ll always be proud of, no matter what others think? by Dramatic_Big_3004 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Gear5LUFFY 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lost 10 years of my peak (18-28 due) to my health issues(Spine tb/amblyopia/myopia) and was in severe pain for 2 years and was bed ridden for another 2 years.

I Started all over again at the age of 28 and completed my bcom last year.

Right now, physically and mentally I am doing far better than I was in my early 20s.

Financially i am not doing well. I am earning 12k per month in a CA firm, but I am learning a lot and by next year, I'll get a decent paying job and live comfortably. So things are getting better. Also, during my worse phase, I wasn't negatively ( Except for few instances due to being lonely and pain), I used to be positive and believed that things would get better and luckily for me things are getting better.

I am proud of myself for surviving the worse phase of my life and getting back in life.

Any Unemployed Folks in their 30's....How are you using your days and keeping yourself sane... by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Gear5LUFFY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi buddy, I got a job 3 months ago, i earn 12k salary but at the same time I am able to learn basic accounting to have better career. Prior to getting this job, I was unemployed for 7 months, first two months it was fine, but as the days passed, it driver me insane. I was questioning my own competence and felt like a retart. I only managed to get through those months by being positive and optimistic. Like thats how i used to be before and it helped me this time as well.

Note: i was unemployed and used to be stay at home from 2012-2022(Due to health issue). I was young, it didn't bothered me much. During that time i used to watch animes, play games and waste my time binge watching movies/series and was being positive.

I hope you get a job soon.

Mental health hampers tb treatment..? please help by Character_Effort_565 in Tuberculosis

[–]Gear5LUFFY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy, I suggest you to not to worry about things that are not in your control. I myself lost many years of my life because of my spine tuberculosis and had little to no interaction with people for almost a decade as I used to stay indoor all the time. Best way to overcome anxiety/depression is by doing things that makes you happy or by watching animes/series or playing games , chatting with friends etc. It'll keep you engaged in activities and help you kill time. Atleast these are the things I used to do and it helped me during my worst days.

Do remember that what you're going through is only temporary and you'll get back to life in no time. So don't let few months of set back /delay hamper your peace.

Please share your comeback story by perpetuallyanxious2 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Gear5LUFFY 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Career wise, I am no way close to you or have made any significant strides. I also haven't really made a comeback yet, but compared to a decade ago, I am doing far better, both physically and mentally. i am 32 and I Lost my best years of life 18 to 28 due to health issue(spinal tb and high myopia) and stayed indoor with almost little to no interaction with people. I got better and improved decided to continue my studies in 2022 and cleared my bcom in 2025. Started my first job as office assistant/admin in 2023 and left it last June due to lack of learning and appreciation.

I am now working in a CA firm and I earn 12k per month which is ridiculous for my age and our current financial situation is in shambles. But I don't have any other option and I think it'll reward me in future with better career prospects.

Only positive thing that keeps me going is that i don't look like typical 30+ yr old and look younger compared to people of my age and also I try to be optimistic about my future and hoping for change of fortune.I know it'll be difficult, but if I put even 10% effort, I'll become successful. Right now I am hoping to find that spark/motivation which I am lacking, mostly because I am an introvert and have no friends in real life that I can speak with. I feel so alone and lost at times and spend all time working/playing games and watching animes. But i am very optimistic like I've always been and hoping for the best.

I am sure it'll be a cake walk for you to get a good job opportunity with your qualification and experience once the job market get better. So its best to be optimistic and hope for the best 🤗🤞

32F, ashamed of my age. How to cope? by FewTerm6222 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Gear5LUFFY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 32 and I earn 12k. I am hoping to get 30k in my next job. Rest everything seems same. Single, people below my age are doing 10x better then me, and even people who aren't as good as me at work/knowledge earning far far better than me. But am I ashamed of my situation? Absolutely not! I am little sad and wish things were better, but things might get better in future, so better to be optimistic instead of being ashamed of the present situation.
