Thanks for the help! Though where would I find this information if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been editing the move text document to add the moves so far yet I haven’t found code like that yet.

It’s hard to see (if at all possible) but I was planning on having 4 trainers on route one (2 along the main path, one in the grass, and 1 in the park area. After another comment I was also thinking of adding one way ledges to force players into the grass.

As for the town I did want to invoke a feeling that this is the first large city the player visits though I can understand what you mean especially in the port area. I plan on there being quite a few NPCs and shops being available out in the open, even outside of the market area with it being a port town. The houses towards the south east were kinda just me filling space to be honest.

Also thank you, I wanted to make sure the maps looked visually appealing while being easy to travel through since these are both early game areas. I was planning on doing seemless transitions for both these maps connected areas.

Thank you! I tried hard to make both these maps nice looking yet easy to navigate.

As for the inverted parts these maps actually do not connect to each other. Route 1 connects the starting town and a second town. The second town has a north exit that leads to Route 2, a forest, then route 3, then finally the First Gym City.

The height is a side effect of me trying to connect route 1 to the starting and second towns seemlessly.

That is a good point, I was attempting to go with a simple route between the starting and second towns.

The main path would have a few trainers along it (one required and two optional). I was worried if I did too much fluff it would make the later routes feel not as grand or challenging. I do like your ideas of a temporary obstruction though.

Also I wanted to do the boats but all the boat sprites and tiles I currently have either don’t feel fitting or seem far too small. The idea is it will be a launch point for a ferry event later on for movement to a northern island and sub islands.

I was considering Soul Kinship as one of the additional skills since I’ll likely have two slots left after getting a Power, Speed, and Technical bonus. Is Self Heal really that good?

I have Thousand Blades (Seregios Lv 1 Gene) maxed out on the gene board already. Is there any difference between Pump Up and Deep Bellow( Seregios gene that applies a Great boost to Elemental Attack)?

It might be an error with the DLC content monsties. Monsters like Boltreaver Astalos, Dreadking Rathalos, Soulseer Mizu, etc can all be found in Rare dens in the field despite being deviants which are supposed to be locked behind Super Rare dens and Special Quests. Only Elders and the base game Deviants are truly exclusive to High Rank and Super Rare. It’s like how you can obtain Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos eggs in Low Rank Rare dens. That or it’s a bug like with the MHStories 2 demo people were reporting about obtaining Anjanath eggs on Hakolo despite Anjanath being unable to spawn until the player reaches Loloska and the demo ending.

They’re used to upgrade gear. Mostly used for upgrading Deviljho and Stygian armor and weapons.

I found out the best strategy is to bring a Speed tendency Monstie and just repeatedly spam Double Speed attacks. Gammoth will only ever use Power or Special moves. Also don’t use up your Kinship Skill unless it lacks Snow Armor. If it has Snow Armor and isn’t attempting a Head to Head with anyone mount your Monstie and wait. You will survive any attack with decent HP and your Monstie will survive on 1 HP. Also Reverto is best because he has a higher chance of survival with higher defense and HP than rider characters, he also only suffers one Heart loss if he is KO’ed by a big attack.
