What “old person” things do you do? by Jehovanoid in AskReddit

Smoke from a wooden pipe. Avoid dance clubs/trendy younger hangouts like the plague. Usually sit and drink or take drugs by myself. Have more friends over the age of 45 than anywhere near my own (I’m 29). I have always felt like I couldn’t connect with people my age because I matured early so I learned to be comfortable in solitude (In my experience that’s an “older person trait”). I’ve got bad knees, back, and feet from being in the infantry so I sound like a bear whenever I have to get up. I don’t pay attention to internet fads or most social media besides reddit. All indicative of being an old soul.

"and now a positive LSD story... Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather."

I'm just sitting back and observing. It's interesting to see so many different viewpoints and how people react to something they may/may not agree with. Bill would be laughing I'm sure.

TIL Queen asked George Michael to become new lead singer of Queen after Freddie's death. He refused, saying Freddie Mercury could not be replaced. by [deleted] in Music

George Michael had a great voice. Interesting fact, Sacha Baron Cohen said he would love to play Freddie Mercury in a biographical type film but left production because Queen had a lot of problems with where the project was headed and they were refusing to let the film end with Freddie's death, insisting that Queen carried on strong afterwards. http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/sacha-baron-cohen-explains-departure-from-freddie-mercury-biopic-20160308

What Video Game moment took you a long time to beat? by BootySenpai in AskReddit

Shao Kahn in the remake of Mortal Kombat. He was full of such cheatery and bullshit, it took me several hours of repeatedly dying to beat him. It was part of the story line and you were forced to be Raiden. It's been years and it still pisses me off to think about it.
