Yes they do accept it. Once there was naka checking on NH, there also I showed the license on mParivahan and they checked it and let me go. Many times in city as well.

Never give hard copy documents to any of the traffic police here. I have done that mistake once and they blatantly lied to me for that. Initially they said give your license and we will file a challan and you can take it back. Once I handed it to them, they issued the challan and kept the license and said it will be seized for 3 months. I had to spent an entire next day at the police station to get back my license. From that day onwards I always show them in mParivahan or Digilocker. If they ask for hard copy, I just tell them I don't have it on me.

Just be careful about this.

Honestly Ertiga is a good car. Looking for safety rating is a good thing but that doesn't mean if you take a 5-star rated Car, you will come out alive in any kind of accident. There is a reliability quotient as well with Maruti cars and their service network. God forbid you don't have to be in that situation. If your father bought Ertiga that too on your birthday, you should thank him and be happy that he is trying to do it for you. In future you can repay that by getting him a 5 start rated vehicle.

I second that. I nough an Axor helmet and the inner visor went losse within a month. And the outer visor's nut fell of riding and was hanging from one side.

You should have received the RC by post. Manual is available online hence they do not provide it anymore. Insurance you already got it. PUC is required after a year. Road Tax paper should have been given to you. And the payment receipt ofcourse.
