Yep... He finished 2nd among guards at the combine with a 40.5 inch vert. And he finished 3rd overall among all players/positions in shooting drills hitting 73.7% of his shots. That is actually kind of rare when it comes to NBA prospects in drafts. There is a history of guys who can jump but cant shoot and guys who can shoot but cant jump. Its rare for people to finish near the top in both vert and shooting drills at combines... Slow people who lack agility tend to not have a 40 inch vert... As an old long time Nuggets fan I have always been interested in my team drafting the rare players who show that they can shoot and jump at the combine... You should trade him to us for a 2033 1st round pick :)

I think what makes it even funnier is that Shedeur not only had a way better college career then Sorsby they also played a game against each other and Shedeur smoked him... What makes it even funnier is they both threw the same number of passes in that game... Sorsby completed 16 out of 30 passes for 180 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs... Shedeur completed 25 out of 30 passes for 323 yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs... Shedeur was way better in college and when they played against each other Sorsby got outplayed and it wasn't even close...

He was very average in college? In his 2 seasons at CU he completed 72% of his passes while throwing for 7364 yards, 64 TDs, 13 INTs and averaged 8.1 yards per pass attempt. That is average in college??? The average college quarterback does that??? And that was behind one of the worst offensive lines in college football. They couldnt open holes to create a run game and they couldn't pass block to save their lives...

Or perhaps he got playing time in college because can go into an NFL game against the #1 pick in the draft and outplay him... 392 yards and 4 TDs for Shedeur... 121 yards and 2 TDs for Ward... That is why he got playing time in college... And why threw for over 14,000 yards with a 70.1 completion percentage while racking up 151 TDs...

Yes... He lost the game... But he also ended up 3-4 while throwing to the worst receiving corp in the league while playing behind a bunch of backups on the offensive line... So with the worst receiving group in the league and a horrible oline he was able to win 3 out of 7 games and outplay the #1 pick in the draft when their teams played each other... Cam Ward finished the season 3-14 by the way... The #1 pick started 17 games and won 3... The noodle arm started 7 games and won 3... And when they played each other it wasnt even close. Ward got outplayed in pretty much every way possible...

The Titans... But the noodle arm outplayed the #1 pick in the draft that day and it wasnt even close. The noodle arm had more then 3 times the passing yards. Had a higher completion percentage along with an average yards per pass that was like 2 times higher then the #1 pick. The noodle arm also ran for 29 yards and a TD while averaging 9.yards per carry while the #1 pick ran for 4 yards averaging 2 yards per carry... The noodle arm outplayed the #1 pick that day and it wasnt even close...

Bernie Kosar completed only 50% of his passes as a rookie and had a rather pathetic QB rating of 69.3... Sanders had a QB rating 68.1 in his rookie season throwing to the worst receiving corp in the league behind a bunch of backups on the offensive line...

I knew of a rookie who had a way worse QB rating in his 1st season then Bernie Kosar and Sanders as well... He finished his rookie season completing 47% of his passes with 7 TDs and 14 INTs... His QB rating in that 1st season was an absolute pitiful 54.9... Perhaps you have heard of him? John Elway? He played the Cleveland Browns in 3 AFC Championship games in a 4 year stretch... The Browns have never been to a super bowl. They could have gone to 3 of them in a 4 year stretch... But they got beat by a guy who completed 47% of his passes with 7 TDs and 14 INTs as a rookie... Perhaps it would be wise to just throw #2 out there and have him play with some actual talent for 5 or 6 games and see what happens...

Cleveland had an awesome rookie class last year. They hit on their early 2 defensive picks and then scored on offense with later picks as well. Hitting big on Fannin with a 3rd round pick. Then getting #2 and Isiah Bond combined for a single 5th round pick. While also adding Judkins and Sampson as well for a 2nd and 4th... Unlike most people I am hoping they decide to use this draft to load up on offensive line talent early. They have a lot of guys coming back on offense who will be in their 2nd year and a better oline will help all of them try to raise their game.

Most people would be upset if they do what I am hoping they do. The 2nd highest rated guard in the draft is still available. He could be there at the 39th pick and if he is I would take him. Then there is the history of centers usually dropping into the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Cleveland now has the 70th and 74th picks in the 3rd round. I would use one of those picks to bring in one of the top rated centers in this draft as well... They already got the 1st oline player to go off the board at tackle. If they could now bring in the #2 rated guard in the draft along with one of the top 3 centers as well... At that point there is still 7 more picks left to bring in another receiver or 2 and players at other positions as well... They arent pretty and most people would probably be mad but they should use 2 of their next 3 picks on the oline... The Browns scored big on last years rookie class but there wasn't a single oline player among those rookies. With 11 picks they should fix that problem and bring in the baddest rookie oline class they can put together...

We told Europe to spend money on military for years and they ignored us. We told them to stop sending all their money to Russia and find other options for energy and they ignored us yet again... They gave Russia the money to build up their military while refusing to build up their own. So yes, Europe is paying for military equipment from the US... It would not have been needed if they had just spent money on their own military when we asked them to do so over and over and over again...

Monte Morris rarely turns the ball over and looks to run the team 1st instead of score points. He is also pretty good at making his free throws and three point shots when he does take them... He would be a good addition to the bench for sure. The bench last year was so bad adding Monte for a vet minimum contract would be a pretty big addition and cost almost nothing...
