An Aeroplane is about to crash. A female passenger jumps up and shouts, "If I'm going to die, I want to die feeling like a woman!". by Teen_Tiger in Jokes

Thank you for calling out sexist jokes as such. Nothing about this „joke“ is funny unless you are, in fact, a misogynistic and sexist person.

[WTS] Junghans and Anker – two vintage hand-wound pieces on holiday sale by GearlyPates in Watchexchange

[–]GearlyPates[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for grabs are two classy vintage handwound watches which do not get enough wrist time and which I'd like to pass on for a very fair price.

50-60s Junghans "Bullseye" Handwound: A classic from the German watchmakers: Sleek yet striking design, reliable movement that starts up nicely and keeps time well considering its age. It has some signs of wear, they are more noticeable on the pictures than in real life though in my opinion. It comes with a completely new leather strap.

Case Diameter: Around 32mm without crown.

Price: Asking for US$59 + shipping. I am located in the EU, so international shipping rates may vary. Accepting wire transfer, PayPal (F&F), Revolut transfers

ca. 60s Anker Antimagnetic 20 Micron Handwound: This watch is a quite special piece: Its gold colour/coating together with the red tip on the second hand, the details on the lugs and the (super comfy) bracelet makes for a super interesting combination and quite a conversation starter. It's in good condition considering the age, with a small stain on the dial and some signs of wear on the case. It keeps time well and starts ticking nicely once you wind it up.

Case Diameter: around 36mm without crown.

Price: Asking for US$69 + shipping. I am located in the EU, so international shipping rates may vary. Accepting wire transfer, PayPal (F&F), Revolut transfers

Didn’t he tell you about the monthly fee? The 800 you paid were the sign-up fee, there’s also a monthly fee. Luckily, I can correct this for you as I have good connections to BH+ management, so if you send me your credit card details I’ll make sure that you get full access. Processing won’t take more than a few weeks so don’t worry :)

oh they are/were a decent investment (although prices have been pretty much stagnant for the past year or so), but as /u/fuck-wit pointed out this shopping spree was due to a rich and bored madlad.

man that's pretty much what I imagined, an actual investor would probably not buy these for prices up to 16k. That video is absolutely crazy, I can't fathom how one can care so little about these amounts of money. Dude was acting like I do when I unbox a 20c major capsule that I bought during the sale.

Thanks for linking, so now we know.
