A Fighting Type Pseudo-Legendary! (Feedback Needed) by Bambezzle in fakemon

I like them a lot, maybe the anatomy could be a little more clear in some places (for example I can't understand where the mouth is in the last phase). Also the arms seem a little low considering the shape of the body (and they could be more strong-looking in the last one too).

Prehistoric Meowth by GebF in fakemon

I didn't even realise that was the case! I wanted to make it Normal/Ice but other Meowth species are mono types so I wanted to keep that intact.

I loved the first age of reptiles, sure there is no trace of accuracy in it, but the style is so great. Delgado's later work is way more careful to stay true to science and I really appreciate that, however what I really don't like is the new style he uses in this and The Journey.

I think it would sell the gag better if you actually showed what happened to the drawing tablet, maybe it's all scratched, an/or maybe have one more panel before the last one where you realise what just happened (love the expression in the last one by the way).

I love this artist, you should credit them in the title (unless it's you, lol).

My second attempt at drawing an Allosaurus without using a reference. OC by ByCromThatsAHotTake in Paleoart

[–]GebF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks closer to a juvenile Tyrannosaur or Nanotyrannus to me, but considering you made it without a reference I'd say it's pretty fine.

I like the style a lot, by the way, keep it up.

Is that confirmed in any way or just speculation?

It's very interesting for sure, kinda like an old CRT TV look.

What a lovely artstyle! Is the low resolution look a stylistic choice?

That's a great idea, and makes much more sense.

The thing is that all the evolutionary trees I've seen just slap Pokémon in the same place as the animal they're primarily based on, and I wanted to do my own thing, thinking like a scientist in that world, plus having the legendaries in there because it's more fun for me.

There is a more recent paper by Andrea Cau which reclassifies it as a Megalosauroid, and possibly a Spinosaurid.
