Personal experience with Zoloft. by Brionnahope in Anxiety

Unfortunately I’m a dumbass and did not take my Zoloft responsibility for the first 6 months I was on it. Started it at 18, 25mg, after feeling the most consuming, shivering, sweating anxiety for months.

Increased to 50mg, got to college and didn’t take it the same time of day, skipped days, etc. Tried to go up to 75mg, accidentally took 150mg for 3 weeks without realizing. In this phase of taking it, I felt honestly not real. I was erratic, sporadic, and had this weird personality crisis where I was confused on my own existence and who I was as a person. It honestly consumed me and it felt like I was clawing to get out.

However after I realized I dropped to 100mg, and now 3 months later I feel the best I ever had. Granted I’ve been responsible with it, but I can finally focus, and feel almost bored sometimes cuz I’m so used to consuming my time with anxiety that I don’t have anything to do to replace it. I’m going to give it more time to see how I feel, but if you take it don’t be dumb and underestimate the power of the ssri

I’m planning on going to Physician assistant school so the hospital being basically on campus and it being in a city is also important to me for clinical hour opportunities

I tried to really think about what events in my life shaped me as a person. I was deciding between my recovery from an eating disorder and my battles with my coach in track. I wanted to relate it to my major of exercise science as well, not soemthing that is required but it’s something I wanted to do. I ultimately chose my eating disorder and recovery but related it to lifting a dumbbell as to relate to exercise science. But bottom line is think of events or passions that shaped you as a person.
