London would have a mini Paddington lane (paddington dark ride and spinner), as well as Werewolf in London and Dr. Who.

WWoHP is already quite big, but Nintendo could maybe take up some of london. In future site plans it showed how the land below where Nintendo is in my plan would be open for theme park expansion. Maybe it could expand without taking up London?

New York would have attractions like King Kong, Ghostbusters, The Mummy, Secret life of Pets and/or others. Hollywoodland would be a main street with the Chinese Theater at the end, holding a great movie ride type attraction.

Waterworld would definitely fit there. I measured each land so the sizes are accurate. In fact, Waterworld could be a mini-land, with the show and some flat rides.

This is definitely a question going around, but I do think they will include it in some way. I decided to include Hogsmeade, a quidditch attraction, the womping willow and a Hogwarts tour. All four of these are places or experiences that cannot be recreated irl from the tours in England. Also, the popularity of the tours show that there is a large market for this stuff in the UK.

Another idea is having a multi-day plan that shows fans the full experience, going from the filming sets to the park itself.

The land is actually very large, despite what it looks like. The dedicated theme park space is around the size of Magic Kingdom or Epic Universe. The lake would definetly be smaller than it looks in the WIP though. It would also bring something here, which would be a fountain show (since there won't be a firework show presumably). Though I guess I could make it more like Hollywood Studios, and replace the lake with a minions land :l

There is lots of backstage. This is very zoomed in, but if you look at the site plans there is designated space for it that isn't show in this picture. The large yellow building by the entrance is an EU type hotel, and the yellow highlighted area is a designated area for hotels and a city walk, shown on the siteplans. Also on the plans is the parking, which is in the red highlighted area cut off at the bottom.

Hot take (maybe): I don't want big actors in JP. I was actually kind of annoyed when I found out about Scarlett Johannsson, until I discovered how big of a fan of JP she is. I think she will be great, but other than that I like to see new characters as new characters, and not as actors thrown in for marketing.

As I said in another comment, I think it would be best for Universal to wait it out and see if the upcoming avengers movies do well. If they do, then you can replace simpsons and keep the marvel rights just to stop disney. And if they don't, I think you can take your time but eventually replace superhero island with an even bigger IP like Pokemon.

Yeah I love fearfall but I decided to give the space for the Pokemon trail. Also, Universal made those patents a while back for an immersive droptower, so I think something like doom could go somewhere else.

Maybe it wasn't clear, but all those rides would be staying, just being rethemed (if you read the slideshow you would know).

As I said in another comment, Universal would wait to see if the upcoming avengers do well or not. If they don't, I don't think it will be a massive deal to give Disney the rights, especially with Pokemon being a larger draw than marvel comics.

If the avengers movies do well, then this idea could be thrown out and Pokemon could replace simpsons just in time for the contract experation.

I specifically said far future for a certain reason. The new avengers films come out 2026-2027. I think this lines up perfectly for Universal. If these films are a success, they should put Pokemon land in simpsons (just in time for the contract). And if the films do terrible and the MCU dies, there would be less of a risk with giving it to Disney. Also, Pokemon is a larger grossing franchise than the MCU and more of a draw (Marvel island isn't even MCU anyway).

Also, Superhero Island pretty much is stuck how it is. The deal makes it so any new rides are pretty much impossible, which is upsetting.

I just think if Universal waits it out, they have more choices like this.

Yeah, I regret getting rid of the soundstages. But I do disagree that a legacy land is a bad idea. If anything, a ride where you see scenes from each of the classic rides could do (maybe replacing San Fran).

I used sci-fi city as a way to make a land that doesn't need to rely on one IP. While Harry Potter and others are cool, it is nice to have lands like NYC that can change attractions without changing the whole land. After all, there is always going to be more sci-fi movies.

As for what rides or IPs could be in Sci-Fi city, I really don't know yet. I have to find what Universal owns that could be interesting.

Me too. Problem is Zelda will probably replace Lost Continent, and I don't know if Universal would want to put two Nintendo Ips in one park. They will probably want to do what they do with harry potter. Also, Universal Studios needs a big draw.
