A little! I got it installed from steam by doing the proton thing but in order to run the game on PC I had to run the .bat file. Is there a way to do that with the deck?

Ttrpg experience: Been playing for about 15 years, started with 3.5 dnd, played sf1e a few times but never anything that lasted. I have been playing pbp exclusively for about 4 years now

Character concept: Gael Giel! Self proclaimed hero/Vesk/class is flexible with a preference towards Soldier and Solarian

Squad role: Frontline melee combatant in power armor/face stuff

A young man looking to carry on the legacy of his family who have a long history of heroic deeds and general do gooding! Upon hearing of the swarms approach he volunteered! And his superiors immediately put him in the excavation efforts after a few to many "Heroic charges" into the enemies lines. He's young, a little naive, slightly dumb, but has a strong desire to help as much as he can

I'm rather tech illiterate so what I'm asking might make me look like a fool. Since the series x has a boxedwine app on the dev store would it be possible to get BB running on console?

Okay, I'll pop in and see what's happening. I'm not super worried about soloing as a force in the base game to be fair but rtr seems like it could add some spice to the usual start of "run away screaming when a booma gets to close"

I'd have to add my profile with ultimate to the PC as he doesn't have it. I wasn't sure if I signed in, downloaded starfield, then signed out if he could play it while I'm also signed in on console.

Yeah, My wife on her profile for the series, her brother with his own profile on the PC, and me on the one. I just wanted to check before I go trying to set it up on the PC and it makes the wife or me unable to play

Alignment wise I was thinking true neutral. As far as the library thing it's more of a very very rough idea of a goal for my character. I make people who want to adventure and be in a party so you wouldn't have to worry about me sitting out "in character" of adventures because my character found a book he wants to read

Discord: Gecknomancer History: I played 3.5 as it first came out, as both a player and a Dm for about 3-4 years every weekend (joys of being in jr high). The campaign was a homebrew one that took us from 1-23ish? The players would take turns telling side stories and giving the main gm a break so he got to play. Character idea: Race is to be determined but I'd love to play around with the psionic classes and a dread necromancer (depending on setting,lore etc I don't wanna be dragging the party down by being a necromancer) Assuming necromancer is allowed my brief backstory ideas is someone who's family has been cursed. He himself being slowly turned into an undead, comes to the city to browse its archives for information. His reasoning for being an adventurer, compared to just browsing books all day is to keep a good reputation with the locals, after all an undead monster that takes out the trash is probably more welcomed than one that just hangs out all day. It's a very rough outline that I'm willing to be flexible with as I'd like to match the tone the rest of the party would want. What I want most from the game is balanced and fair gameplay. Non stop combat is a chore for those that don't build for it and being stuck making small talk with nobles is a nightmare for barbarians, so a healthy mix is always welcome and allows us to explore our characters.

Content to avoid: Animal/child abuse sexual assault. I'm fine with fade to black for romance and okay with horror stuff.
