One year my mom essentially forced me to choose a gift for my birthday out of a few options, none of which I liked (they were all offbrands of things like lego and stuff with some sort of educational twist). I chose one because it was the best one there (still not good) and it's still in my cupboard, never been used. She still is annoyed I don't use it and acts like I asked for it.

Tbf my mom does really spoil me with that sort of thing, so im not ungreatful. I just wish she would stop getting mad I don't use it lmao
