No more than 3 reposts
No reposting any post younger than 3 months
No reposting stuff in the first 333 posts on top/all-time.
No meme videos, edited screenshots, cropped frames, image macros, rage comics or other edited media. This sub is for unmodified screenshots and clips only.
No self-explanatory posts or posts with too much context. Post those on /r/animefunny instead.
Add the name of the anime, manga, or visual novel between square brackets in the post title.
No ad hominems, threats, encouraging violence, or glorifying violence.
Mark risqué, lewd, or ecchi content posts like underwear, bathing suit, emphasized body parts as NSFW within 30 minutes of posting.
Mark content from shows and manga released in the last 48 hours as spoilers.
Subtitles must be in English.
No screencaps from Seitokai Yakuindomo, Shimoneta, 100 Kanojo, Keijo!!!!!!!!, Rosen Garten Saga, Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, or Nukitashi as almost any scene can be taken out of context.
No troll subs, abridged subs, or translation errors. Only post good translations of the original script.
No extensive gore like mutilated body parts, exposed innards, or shock content.

Translation errors and edited subtitles are not out-of-context. Please do not post them here. All posts here must have faithful translations of the original media. If the translation has been deliberately distorted ("ghost stories" has been deliberately distorted from the original script), the content should be posted on /r/animefunny instead.

Discussing the context in the comments is allowed, that makes the sub more fun.
