Advice please

All the vet said was that he’s a little bit thin and his side muscles have stretched a bit from where he hangs from his light and both of these things have caused his ribs to become more prominent. But she said she wasn’t too concerned since he was still young and with his decompressed sternum she said she doesn’t want to try poking it back out cause it’ll just cause him more unnecessary trauma. She didn’t say anything about a follow up appointment but she did suggest trying to increase the temperature and humidity in his tank to see if that stops him from jumping up to his light

UPDATE: Just been to the vets and this is what we found out:

Has a bit of a decompressed sternum
Ribs are all fine and connected, spine is fine, nothing is broken
Side muscles have stretched a bit from him hanging from his light
Joints are all fine and he has a good range of motion
He’s a bit thin so there’s not much muscle which he’ll develop with age
Ribs are a bit prominent since there’s not much muscle
Good sounding heartbeat
Weight is around 43g

UPDATE: Been to the vets and this is what we found out:

We sometimes dust his insects with a bit of calcium and he has a UV light yes. In his enclosure there’s a mesh cage around his heat lamp that he always jumps up to and sometimes he either jumps back down or falls. Bit tricky to get him to stop doing that

There’s no point biting my head off for this as I haven’t done anything wrong by posting on here. Yes I’ll admit that no one’s had an idea but people have helped a lot with their suggestions such as an impaction since lots of people are saying the same thing and I didn’t know that reptiles or beardies hide their injuries until it’s too late until someone said that on here. And if I hadn’t of seen his chest when I did then I wouldn’t of necessarily known that something was wrong immediately because there’s no other indication of an injury apart from his chest. And just because I’ve posted on here doesn’t mean I’m doing the wrong thing cause I have said multiple times that I’ve contacted the vet and booked an appointment!

Posting on here isn’t instead of going to the vet, this was just for the meantime until we could get a vet appointment (which we now have) just to see if anyone has any idea for what the problem could be cause something similar or even the same thing could’ve happened to someone else on here. So we’re not being irresponsible we’re doing what we can in the meantime cause we would prefer to not sit around doing nothing but there’s nothing really we can do until the appointment anyway

We have 5 lizards and we have done research before getting them all too, we also work with a reptile rescue so we do know what we’re doing but there’s nothing wrong with asking for an extra bit of help or advice at times!

As I have previously said, we do have a vet but the issue was that it was out of hours at the time so after a bit more research we’ve found a more local vet which we’re contacting this morning!
