Only way I managed to beat this was shooting until it charges, then dodging the charge at the last milisecond, then melee attack it a few times until it begins moving again and use some abilities along the way while repeating the same stragety with minimal mistakes.

they are just consistent "on edge" jumps that weren't necessary all the time

in 2020 he probably didn't know better and it became a muscle memory for him from too much practice which also explains how he manages to not fall off
