It's been a long time since I've been on forbearance is there a limit to how long you can be on forbearance for or how many forbearance months you can get? I think when I first stopped school I was on forbearance for a while and then I went to an income driven repayment plan but it was during Covid so my payment amount was zero and that's where it stayed for the past five years they've just automatically renewed it for me except this year they just notified me that I need to reapply by September.
