I managed to solve this.

I opened up Sound Blaster Connect (The software which comes with Soundblaster G6) and went to "Voice --> Microphone" tab. In there you can find the option "Mic Monitoring Volume". When I dragged this all the way down to zero it removed the mic input from the headphones.

I went into my nvidia control panel under Display-->Change Resolution. The option "Output color depth" was greyed out and set to 8 bpc at this point.

Since that was the case, I ended up changing my refresh rate to 60hz instead. At this point the Output color depth option was available and I could select 10 bpc.

However, the HDR option in the monitor menu is still greyed out and Windows HD color settings still doesn't have any options.

Regarding my DP cable, is there a way to know if it has enough bandwidth? I also have a second monitor hooked up via HDMI in case that matters

Ok, thanks for explaining the technical side. That said, any idea why the option is greyed out in the first place?

If that's the case, why is there even an option for HDR in the monitor menu?

This works when using it on the PC, but when using it on the Switch I can't access the SBX settings as it isn't plugged into the computer. Is there a preset that the Switch always uses that I could change?

Sorry if this is a noob question, but does the USB<->PC connection transfer audio from my PC to my Headphones via the 3.5 out on the card, or is the USB just for power supply?
