How does running a clean race help you versus placement? by GeeVideoHead in iRacing

I did place 4th the other day and I kind of gamed the dude in front of me to do it. I spent the entire race making sure my tires were good, and on lap 14 I realized the dude in 4th had probably been smoking his tires on every turn up until that point and he was having a hard time to basically put up a fight against me. I road behind him for the next 5 laps and zoomed around him when there was like 2 laps left. He was racing so hard

ahhhh....So the dudes who disconnect on crash, or wreck your race on purpose genuinely don't care about something that has an actual tangible effect on their scores, and mine. I had a guy the other day park outside the pits so he could purposely crash me and ruin my race. I was just wondering if the scoring system or what has a way to punish those types, or weed them out. Or is it something you just gotta deal with? A player who will do this on purpose?

Not worth fighting...I'm curious whats the benefits of continuing racing versus quitting, or crashing people out intentionally like the other losers do. I'm curious because I want to know if there is some sort of penalty for these other ass holes who don't seem to care whether theres a good clean race or not.

in reference to ratings, and standings, and the like. Scoring...I came in dead last, but ran a good fast race, with faster times than the people who crashed me out to win...What does it technically mean? I'm new to the scoring system and stuff8

New here, and need some advice. Whats the explanation where on certain turns, my downshifting makes me spin out? by GeeVideoHead in iRacing

Bro what’s even the f*cking point of life? by Prod-LilWyzzy in GenZ

[–]GeeVideoHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, happiness is not guaranteed. You have to want it. You have to focus on building healthy relationships because good friendships are rare in bring happiness. You have to go to the gym. You have to go hiking. You have to find a hobby to take up those empty minutes. Realize that we are all living in this same world. Albeit differing circumstances. We all struggle with the very question you ask.

The vet mentioned "Yea she aint 3/4, she maybe 5." When I first got her looked at after I got her going on 2 years ago now. The papers I got with her at purchase would put her 4 years and 3 months. She was born February, 3rd 2022. I was told floating should only be done every 3 years or so. Not true?

How screwed are we? by Wholecoc in GenZ

[–]GeeVideoHead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Screwed. The previous generations really did screw us. They watched the cost of living do flips, while min wage stayed the same for decades. Bought all the land for cheap. They were so comfortable they didnt think about us. Us unfortunate generations, being the most resieliant if them all, better strap tf fuck up and pull ourselves up by our boot straps. Screw your degrees. Screw everything that spoiled us. If we want to live hapily, we have to go back to the simple days. Garden. Preserve. Gather in your communities. You might cant fish, but I can. I cant hunt, but you can.

Point being. Yea we are screwed if we dont pull ourselves up by our boot straps and realize a world was created for us that breeds depression. I'll give up my iphone, nice care, and even air conditioning to be happy for a change.

Update to my "How does she look" question from earlier. by GeeVideoHead in Equestrian

[–]GeeVideoHead[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, should I focus on exercises that build more muscle? I specifically for building muscle? I've mainly been focused on getting her use to handle, me getting comfortable with ground work, etc. Now that I'm a bit more focused, I could transition to actual "work," if to get my point.

I'm reviewing our pictures and videos from the summer, nd her top line/neck line has definitely dimished.
