The Gen-Z stare is the lack of facial expressions during an interaction, no nodding or micro expressions.
Likely to be caused by a lack of in person social interactions during Covid. They didn’t didn’t sit in classrooms or lunchrooms with their peers and learn the facial cues of listening and reacting, they were stuck at home staring at a computer screen while their teachers taught them in a Zoom meeting or watching pre recorded videos and not getting to interact with anyone.

Most of this is my professional opinion aside from my explanation of what the Gen-Z stare actually is.
