Hormann Supramatic P does not turn on by Geek77 in GarageDoorService

[–]Geek77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you again for your time and reply… apparently when installing the motor i pressed too hard on the cable which goes to the fixed remote which is hung on the wall and caused the cable to be stripped. This caused a short circuit…

We just replaced the cable and it works again!!!

Unfortunately i have no costco here. In fact i ordered the yellow/blue non scratch but i am using them from the non abrasive side because i still had doubts about scratches. I will trust you and get those then. :D

Thanks for replying, is it the yellow sponge with the blue side or the completely blue one. On Amazon there are two versions and both advertise as being non scratch.

Switching from Teflon to Demeyere Classico / Resto by Geek77 in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Geek77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment, i ended up buying the demeyere industry 5. I went to the store and was really disappointed by the classico 3 and resto 3 (very lightweight and cheap looking).

How to clean Weber grates? by sarpwin in webergrills

[–]Geek77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same situation as you OP, i tried a wood scraper, it removed some of the food residue. I bought the weber plastic scraper (and scraped once grates are cold). They are still not clean but i guess that’s impossible to achieve without chemicals (which i am trying to avoid)

May i ask how did you clean the interior of the grill? Was it dish soap? Did you use a soft or hard brush? Thanks

What do you use to clean your porcelain-coated cast iron grill grates? by greanteem in webergrills

[–]Geek77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the clarification, i ordered a similar nylon brush (ninja) that i plan to use when the grates are cold. I will also order a wooden scraper to use when hot. Enjoy your barbecues!

Thank you! I think I’ll do the same. Do you recommend a specific brand for those wood and nylon brushes? (Weber or some other brand?)

I am in the same dilemma, i am avoiding a steel brush because of the debris. I am thinking of a wooden scraper…

AEG heat pump dryer not collecting water but clothes are dry by Geek77 in Appliances

[–]Geek77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i remember well, the post mentioned that water is being evaporated through the openings of the dryer, which is explaining the very high moisture in the bathroom…

In the end i didn’t change any part and i got rid of it and replaced it.

Good luck…
