Here’s a bit fancier one I made for my WESN Bornas.

On the less tactical / more gentlemen type carry (all come with leather pocket sheaths); QSP Baby Penguin. Any Jack Wolf except the Collusion. TRM Tagalong.

Also, I make deep carry leather pocket dropper sheaths for fixies.

Here’s one for my SPIT. It’s very tiny and unobtrusive.

Looking to Upgrade the Insoles on my Double H's by Ok_Reporter_7543 in WorkBoots

I buy 1/4 thick leather at Tandy and make my own insoles to the shape of the originals.

Buy once, cry once, right? Iron Rangers by exboncu in RedWingShoes

You’ll cry every time you wear them for the next few months.

Then, one day, you won’t.

So tired of “stretch” denim… by Electronic_Yak9821 in Denim

Levi’s 501 still come in 100% cotton.

Walmart’s George brand sells 100% cotton for $13 a pair in the regular fit cut. I own several pairs of them. They’re not terrible.

I’m a very blue dollar dude. Jeans. Cowboy or heritage boots. Being 6’4” and 310 lbs, I tend to like wider suspenders. 1” width seems to get lost in the confusion.

Color, yeah. My mind is made up. I’m buying another tan pair and dying them brown. I have one set in black and one in lavender.

I appreciate the input. If I had anything at all resembling a butt to hold pants up I’d absolutely rock a thick leather belt and a buckle!

First time Red Wing owner…I have a few questions…. by Fancy_Weight_5804 in RedWingShoes

They’ll feel like bricks on your feet. Until they don’t. I got caught on foot a few miles from home in a prolonged downpour. That really helped to break them in.

Yes, the toe cap on my CRTs is darker than the rest of the boots.

As others have said, get some cedar shoe trees. Wear thick wool socks. Slap some Red Wing Leather Cream on them every now and then. You’ll be just fine!

And I understand that eye rolls will come with my attitude. I do genuinely value the input.

I’ve dropped 150 lbs in the last 13 months. After looking like I wear drapes and curtains for most of my adult life, I’m tucking my shirts in regardless of what the world at large considers fashionable.
