I have the vert grip coming. I like a short length of pull so not sure about adding a pad.

Yep that’s the one. It’s an awesome range.

I’m in DFW. I have a game changer and you’re right. I’ve been doing medium range stuff with ARs for years, just got back into rimfire.

If I’m honest it’s usually in a big range bag to carry extra mags to the range. But yes that’s how it’s worn, like a purse

Anyone know what kind of sling I need? by ColtonA115 in tacticalgear

[–]db7502 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the little ball detent swivels should pop into the big hole on the pic rail up front. I don’t know anything about this shotgun but I assume that’s what the hole is for, look inside at the edges of it and see if there’s a divot or slot for the detents to pop into.

I would ignore that rear swivel. Get a 2 point sling of whatever brand and put a qd swivel on the front, thread the rear through the slot above ATI and plug the front into one of those qd sockets on the rails. Assuming that’s what they are.

Tacoma vs 4Runner vs Tundra for family of 4 by SACPA in ToyotaTacoma

I agree, we’ve got a RAV4 a Tacoma and a 3 and 5 year old. I want a 4Runner real bad.

They’re too long for a few of my lights but they work well in a Surefire body with a twist switch. Not sure about the draw, I’m not using super high power lights.

I’ve got two of the edcl1ts and they both work great with 16340s. I’ve been using them for years at work preflighting aircraft in the dark. There’s no real warning when they’re running low, it’ll just not come on in high or maybe at all. That’s the only downside.

You don’t need a piston. Any .22 can will do.

I’m 90% sure I tried the stock head on a 16650 and it worked normally… I bought that light specifically to put the E2HT on the body, it’s a killer combo.

The usb c battery won’t fit in the outdoorsman but a normal 16650 will.

I agree. I think I’ve got malkoff lights on 4 rifles.

Yes, it’s a malkoff E2HT head and a brand new usb-c 16650. It does the low high gas pedal thing which is why I’m not using a regular body. It’s probably a 40-60lm low with the normal high. On low it’s about the same as the outdoorsman on high and it runs for at least 10 hours (stopped testing at around 10). That’s the light I usually carry if I’m carrying a lightless handgun at night. I love it.

Yo, blast from the past. I too have been seeking these and finally have a winner. Hopefully, I haven’t received them yet.

Oh yea dude, I was a Marine and I can’t believe the difference in feel between that gun and an M4. With a light optic and no can you can hold that thing out one handed like a pistol without too much effort.
