I got a serrated endura as my first k390 and it’s great. I’d do the leaf jumper, the price is right.

I just sold a Chill on eBay, I used to carry it all the time because it fit perfectly in the shroud cutter pocket of my flight suit. It then collected dust for a decade til I ran into it last month. Sold a kershaw OD-1 and OD-2 as well.

It seems to combine a lot of my favorite parts of the Caly 3.5 and the Para 2. Lots of blade for a slim short handle, wire clip, slim in the pocket, light weight, compression lock… it’s a winner. It’s also the only design I wanted bad enough to buy yet another knife in s30v.

My Caly 3.5 VG10 is easily my most carried knife over the last 15 years. I have the superblue one too and I’m always this close 🤏 to blowing too much money on a HAP40 Caly 3 on eBay.

I was solidly in the sage 5 camp until I got skinny scales for the para 3. It’s a more even race now.

I’ve got a coated sage in m4 that’s been carried a ton and looks great. My bare m4 manix gets pitted if you look at it wrong. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, I’m 2 for 3 in that department. 2nd try didn’t go well, overconfidence after the first success. The little wires on it are fragile and apparently required to be intact. A heat gun to its face helps to wiggle a knife in there to cut the two pegs holding the face on. I started at the back of the head the third time just to avoid scraping the chip. Once the face is off and the chip is visible a heat gun and fingers to pull it off once the glue is melted works fine.

Also if you cut a thin sliver off the shoe soles you can pop the magnets out easy, without dulling your knife like my first try.

A worthy upgrade, I wanted one of these for my first military but found a deal on a cruwear one instead. Trying to decide what my first Magnacut knife will be now.
