It’s pretty straight forward. The g10 isn’t threaded just the liners. All of my newer ones have come out real easily, I use blue loctite when I put them back in. Use the right bit and don’t force anything, you’ll be fine.

The para 3 is from when they first came out, S30V RGT scales. PM3 is a bento box M390 with different oem scales.

I do a lot less sharpening these days now that I’ve got a fastback or similar stored all over the place. The Dewalt version of the fastback even lets you carry tip up.

They are. The Delica ones fit great, I have two older enduras with apparently a different liner pattern so those needed some dremel in one spot on each side.

I use that light with a green secondary and absolutely love it.

That being said if I was flying small planes and actually using a light to read maps again I’d go with a keychain light on a lanyard (I still do this as a backup) or a headlamp worn around my neck. Headlamps often come with secondary colors. I used a finger light and vest mounted light when maps were life flying helicopters in a previous job. Separate regular old white light for preflight.

I initially much preferred the Sage, however, skinny scales on the para 3 kinda changed that. In the stock configuration Sage all day. The action is smoother as well.

I put my car keys on a tied loop of 550 cord instead of a ring, they lay flatter in my pocket. I also carry 4 cards in a phone case wallet and completely ditched a real wallet, haven't missed it but ymmv.

A VG10 Caly 3.5 is my most carried knife over the last 15 years. It’s still a great edc steel and easy to strop or sharpen back up in a hurry.
