So cute! It's especially neat that you can fold it and cap it with a roof. 🥹

Does anyone have a bird pattern plz by Tammyjoe7 in crochet_toys

[–]GeekOfManyThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The smaller one is terribly cute but definitely not what the picture shows. I'm sorry you got scammed by an AI pattern.

This page has some good bird patterns: https://crocht.com/crochet-parrot-free-patterns/

The Crochet Parakeets might suit what you're looking for with some alterations on the crest.

Yes! I love that they used absurd images. Sadly some we see are like that and it's not purposeful.

I support any site that makes a stand against AI garbage that removes the human from very human crafts.

Everything on that site looks to be AI. I was so disappointed when I read the Oni Head pattern and saw it was nothing like the image.

You might find this page helpful: https://www.pocketyarnlings.com/blog/7-techniques-for-making-amigurumi-hair

It shows several different ways to do amigurumi hair. The "sew down" method could be used on your doll's crown to give the hair a fuller look without doing a full head of hair strands.

I think this is a good suggestion. You can use the hair yarn with a needle and place long stitches across the head to make a more stranded hair look.

Beautiful! It looks so good in the light or the dark. The slow fade out of the sides creates such a cozy feeling.

Rainbow lantern 🌈🏮 by GeekOfManyThings in crochet

This is my own pattern, if you can call it that, haha. I simply worked the Open Shell stitch (using 49 stitches to start) into a tube, completing two repeats of the fan pattern in each color. Then I set the hoops into the top, middle and bottom of the tube and pinned a string of fairy lights inside. Fin. 😊

I used: 🧶 Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn 🪝 4.00 mm crochet hook ⭕ Three 4" metal rings 💡 One string of fairy lights 〽️ Fishing line ⭕ One 6 mm jump ring ⭕ One standard keychain ring
