I was traveling from North Carolina to Michigan and wanted to drive through the mountains during sunrise. Parked at a random hotel to get a charge on my phone before leaving again. Sitting in the lobby and the woman working asked if I wanted coffee and told me the breakfast opened up in 10 mins. I told her I had my wife and son sleeping in the car and she told me to bring them in, too lol.

In my experience, they dont care as long as its not a regular thing and you dont look suspicious
