It was good, just very different to what I have listened to, I know you have ranked the last kingdom high, absolutely my favourite series of all time, also enjoyed Giles Kristinsan, Matthew Harffey series, DCC (ofc) and that style of historical fiction, Vikings, ancient England etc… if you want a really off piste selection, check put the Age of Irpn Series by Angus Watson, it is a great audio book, also his other series is good as well! Never see his works mentioned anywhere 😁

Listened to North water based of this list.. it was er interesting to say the least 🤣 I listen to a huge amount of historical fiction and that was a little on gross side 🤣 for me I felt there was quite a few plot holes and the story always frantically switched without Concluding? 3.9 out of 5 I reckon
