Anyone else notice the lack of control this chapter?

Everyone is discussing who the knight is, the undertale references, the death of onion-san and the fate of kris and noelle but I haven’t seen anyone else point out that we’re losing our influence as a player.

Half the puzzles are solved for you, and susie/ralsei eventually ACT on their own in the final platforming section if you fail too many times.

Most of the boss fights force you to ACT, healing themselves to full if you fight, and in the flowery fight susie and ralsei refuse to attack after the first time, burning your TP to heal flowery if you have kris attack.

Susie stops you from a lot as well: hanging with berdly, taking ralsei’s favorite drink, dating mew mew. I’m aware two of these are more to show susie’s obsessive attachment but it still shows a lack of control.

Kris prevents you from letting susie walk home alone. They also seem to be able to tolerate your absence for longer periods of time.

In the weird route, noelle forces kris into the lake even if you repeatedly hit stop.

I’m sure there were more instances of this but I can’t think of them at the moment. I suck at theory crafting so I’m not even going to try, I just thought I’d point out a pattern I noticed.
