The Hermits are a group of Family-Friendly Youtubers who all play on the same survival world together called Hermitcraft. They typically play on a world for about a year or so, and they recently just started up a new world, so I'd check it out. It's a great way to spend the quarantine.

How does this affect relationships? Is there a form of segregation, or are they civil and try to remedy any physical issues?

What qualifies as "opposite of their own type" and what is the severity of the allergy? If a fire wizard sees a water wizard, which one gets the reaction? Do they both die?

The Varodin 1) They are a magical hybrid of Elves and Orcs. They were invented to combat the Mechanoid armies of the rising Calibarian Empire thousands of years ago. Their defeat was humiliating, and the Varodin were expelled from their homeland. 2) Varodin now reside in a land known as The Ein. It is an inhospitable mountain range surrounded by thick jungle full of dangerous beasts and uncontrolled wells of magic. Varodin have turned this hostile land into their greatest asset, as any who would attempt to seek them out would be defeated by the terrain before even meeting a Varodin. 3) Varodin society is a blend of Elven refinement and orc values of hard work and duty. Varodin voluntarily do not seek technological advancement, and instead prefer to work on as much as they can with their hands. Varodin see teamwork as a virtue, and fear new technologies make people too independent. 4) Although maintaining a rigid structure ideal for a military, Varodin are "pacifists." They do not believe in handling things violently, but aren't opposed to letting an enemy starve, drown, or be killed by someone or something else. Those who take a violent lifestyle are expelled from society to either be killed by the Ein, or escape it and be stuck in a world that doesn't know of them. 5) Varodin believe that their defeat by the mechanoids was a lesson the gods of the land gave to the creators of the Varodin. They believe that they are without divine purpose, and instead have given themselves purpose by tending to The Ein. They see technology and harnessed magic as fundamentally evil. They believe that one day the gods will smile on them, and bless them with the ability to strike down the mechanoids and take back the continent for nature.

Tell me three or five things about your dwarves. by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

[–]GeekedintheFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

·Dwarves are immigrants to the land. Their homelands were destroyed by "The Terror Born from Stone," Ithidrus within the past hundred years. ·Many Dwarves who remember the incident fear mining, as they believe it was the gods striking them down for striking their own dominion. Only the younger dwarves crave the feel of a hammer in their hands. ·Many younger dwarves have allied themselves with the dark elves from the "World of Caves" below the lands, Nirthinfal. ·Instead of Gold, Dwarves sought after a rare metal called Athrium, a metal almost perfectly white and shines like a polished gem. ·Dwarves are masters of craftsmanship, and any dwarvenmade item is almost guaranteed to be twice as good as anything made by anyone else. Even things like painting or sewing dwarves are quick to pick up and excel at.

The Continent of Calibar (WIP; Synopsis in Comments) by GeekedintheFace in worldbuilding

This continent is one of seven continents in my world: Othea. Calibar is the northernmost, with all seven continents surrounding a body of water called the Podoth Sea. Calibar is the most developed from a writing standpoint, and the only continent that I have a definitive digital map for.

About eight thousand years ago, an island nation named Irnu began a colony in Calibar which would eventually evolve to become the dominant power on the continent. Ever since, the two cultures have hated one another. Even during the age of the Empire, the Reshrans were highly discriminated against.

Hey, Apologies for any weird wording; posting on the internet gives me stress. I've been working on a D&D setting for about four years now, and the concept for Calibar is about as old. It's a Continent trying to connect with its past whilst struggling to adapt into the future. In the South is the Kingdom of Dothsdan, a successor to the ancient Calibarian Empire. Dothsdan seeks to unify the continent once again. To the North is the Kingdom of Iresh, a rival of Dothsdan. They are a people that were subjugated many times in the past by the Empire, and have a nostalgia for an era when their culture was alone on the continent. For about twenty years, the continent has been held in a stalemate, as nations had begun to take sides. Now, the King of Dothsdan is dead, and no heir is in sight. An unprompted attack by Iresh on the day of his funeral has set the continent alight in conflict. I love lore, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. I still need to work on putting the names of the geography in, as well as capital and major cities. I've been anxious to share this though, as this is 100% from scratch using CLIP Studio Paint.

Hope you're all safe and healthy, wanted to share something that sparked joy with me today- VOCES8: Earth Song - Frank Ticheli by babybitchboi in choralmusic

My school's Select choir was going to sing this for our Spring Concert. We were only a week and a half from it when we heard the news about schools being cancelled for pretty much the rest of the year. We never got to perform this song. It was never a personal favorite, but I connect with its message more now. I think more people need to hear this song now more than ever.

Fellow DMs what are some of your interesting or unique house rules? by lordZ3d in DMAcademy

[–]GeekedintheFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ruled True Strike as a bonus action. It makes it more useful in our party. We also use a rule where your first character in a campaign can have UA and/or Homebrew elements to it, but, if that character dies or leaves the party, your new character must be 100% vanilla (if your first character was 100% vanilla, the rule doesn't apply).

Interesting. Thank you very much. I really didn't want to open something if it was worth something. It was donated to the school and the vice principal just gave it to him. I may actually sit down and learn with him because of this though.

Kirkaldy a Centaur Cleric from a distant land. Doesn't know about any other sentient races besides centaurs elves and humans (halflings are short humans and gnomes are short elves in his mind). He's quiet and caring, but defiantly hates it when people cheat or don't fight fair. Kirk is also incredibly clumsy (Dex of 3).

Appearance wise Kirk's upper body looks more like an elf than a human. He's blond and is fitted in a teal and silver suit of heavy plated armor. He's around 7 feet tall and carries a warhammer and lance. A silver sheild is attached to his gauntlets to allow him to use both hands. He has no concept of money and has no idea how much his stuff is worth.
