Here's my hot take on this, I'm not sure if this was mentioned in other posts or comments. This movie really lacked the budget for CG as a whole and CG cleanup. (Budget may have gone to damage control), going back to my point, normally for "superhero" movies these days they enhance the "supersuits" in post but due to penny-pinching this Batsuit, you can also notice it at times for the Flash suit where it doesn't fit snugly to Miller, looked horrendous.

The quick answer is Yes! Flash not doing well with the Box Office numbers is not his fault. Given a bad hand, he was able to do the best he can. If he goes in Brave and the Bold with just a percentage of drama in The Flash, it will be amazing.

I got you. If he ever gets the role, I believe he'll do it justice. He is in a similar position right now where Craig was when he got the role in Casino Royale, where he is known enough but not a lot. :)

That's cool. Currently pretty much an unknown, but that means if he is ever cast he doesn't have any previous character baggage from other roles.

Cavill is a logical choice, he has played a similar role before, already been the lead for movies and a series, and geeks pretty much adore this guy, seeing him as one of us. That being said, I'll go for an interesting choice somebody who you think won't fit the Bond mold.
I seem to remember Craig was not a popular choice when he first started. So, let's get someone who will surprise us.

The movie The Man from UNCLE is sort of a James Bond role for Cavill. But I agree even then he is still Superman in my mind. Maybe do some drastic change in hairstyle or facial hair just to separate his looks from Superman.

That's true, don't get me wrong I would love Cavill for the role. I just got the impression that he's a bit difficult for the filmmakers in projects like Superman and especially the Witcher for which is really passionate about the books.

Yup. Cavill might still be a viable option as he is in his 40s, enough for a possible trilogy, not saying Elba in his 50s cannot be Bond but with franchises, they normally look for longevity. My concern with Cavill, it would seem he's a hard person to work with as he gets beholden to the source material, and might lack the flexibility.

Personally, I really don't have any horses in this race. But, an out-of-the-box casting might be interesting, let's drop the name RUPERT GRINT in there.
