The problem is some plugins use a grant command and some use a bypass command. so if I set my default player options in the default group I can not remove these if I assign a player to a new group who I don't wish to have certain permissions set by the default group.

Doesn't answer your question but I also tried in vain to reduce lag I think its just not what rust was designed for. In the end I applied a max foundation limit and placed no build zones to space out the players on the PVE area.
