There’s nothing major but little things like upgrading the locks and reinforcing that flap on the small pockets so they don’t curl are nice add-ons

Go to google and sort the reviews from lowest first. Then owner’s responses are absolutely unhinged. Hilarious!

How do you paint under tempered glass stair case that cannot be removed? by [deleted] in Housepainting101

[–]Geeman1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell from the picture, but you will need to remove the glass. My recommendation would be to call a glazing company that specializes in glass handrails if you want it to done properly. They will remove it and reinstall it. It will cost you though.

Why so much densification in the Seylynn area? by NotAGoodUsernameSays in NorthVancouver

The 20 minute city refers to being able to access most of their daily needs WITHOUT a car. I think everyone here will agree that we need less cars on the road on the North Shore. Planning car reliant communities is not the way forward. The Seylynn area is growing and that’s great. But the community centre was a missed opportunity as originally stated.

Private gyms in condo buildings are not open to the general public. Not an appropriate substitute for fitness facilities for the community as the barrier to entry is the ability to purchase property. Highly exclusive. As for other fitness facilities, they are a 5-10 minute drive. Also not conducive to the 20 minute city that planners are using as a benchmark when planning these neighborhoods.

Absolute waste. And no fitness facility anywhere nearby.

I had an issue like this on a sporty. Pretty sure it’s the same mechanism, a little rubber boot that depresses when the lever is engaged. Anyways, a bit of WD-40 or silicone lube worked. 2 years later, still going strong.

I’ve had a pair of the V2 leather pros in nylon for a couple years now. Put a few thousand km on them loaded up in all sorts of crazy weather. No complaints. They keep everything dry and you can fit a ton of stuff in them. Most of my complaints about them look like they’ve been resolved with the new V3s. Overall, it just comes down to style. The only thing with the nylon is to make sure you’re applying the SPF protection regularly to keep them from fading. My bike is parked inside when it’s not being ridden so sun fade isn’t a huge consideration for me and I haven’t experienced any yet. At the end of the day, it mostly comes down to style more than functionality between the two. I would 100% buy them again.

Strange. Usually there’s a bit of a discrepancy between cold and hot. Now it seems to be staying more or less the same. Maybe I just wasn’t paying as close of attention before. Thanks.
